Shock paralyzes me

I turn to leave
This is too real for my liking

I stop

As I turn I see she is right behind me
"How do I know you are real?"
"Faith…you can feel it in your heart"
She's right
"Why are you here?"
"I was given the chance to say good bye…
now I must leave"
"Wait! You can't leave me!"
She's fading… I can't see her!
"Remember me… always"
The wind seems to whisper
I'm too late
She's gone
Why should I care?
Emotions are weakness
