It was all most the ending of my perfect summer. Miranda, Gordo and I went
to the Bahamas. (I could not believe our parents let us). It was great we
stayed there for 2 weeks. I had a wonderful time. Miranda and I went
shopping and hung around the beach. Gordo found a group for kids his age to
become directors. Though that took up most of his time he was free
weeknights and weekends. However, during the nights we would catch flicks
and watch movies. Miranda and I shared a room and Gordo has one right next
to us. For some reason during the summer, I felt weird around Gordo.
Miranda came up with a theory that I really liked Gordo. I admit I might
have a crush on Gordo. Mirando said she had talked to him earlier that day
and he told her he liked me.
We were now arriving at the airport when we spotted our parents. I was so happy to be home; but I wish I could of stayed at the Bahamas longer. There was 2 weeks before school was starting and Miranda and I had LOTS to do.
" MOM, DAD, MATT I missed you guys so much."
I ran towards them not caring what people around me thought. In the corner of my eye, I saw Miranda and Gordo doing the same.
We arrived home later that night. Because, my parents had taken Miranda, Gordo, their parents and me out for supper. I went to my room to unpack. OMG I missed my room. I sat on my bed and the next moment I realized I was asleep.
I woke up at 9:30 today. Miranda called me as I was just finishing my hair. I had done a messy bun with cute butterfly slips. I was wearing a cute tank top with a nice jean skirt and some back high tops.
" Hello?"
"Hey Lizzie, it's me Miranda. I was wondering if today you wanted go school shopping, you know cloths and supplies."
" Sure, what time?" I asked
" Um, how bout I pick you up at 12:30?"
" Sure, great I'll see you then, bye"
" Bye Lizzie see ya later"
I waited for a while and then I heard the door bell ring.
" Hey Miranda."
I opened it but it was not Miranda.
" Hey Lizzie"
" Oh, Hey Gordo"
" Um I was wondering if you wanted to go school shopping."
" Well, Miranda and I are, but you wanna come?"
" Sure"
I waited for five minutes then Miranda came.
" Hey, Miranda"
" Hey Lizzie, Gordo?"
" Ya, Miranda Gordo came by and wanted to go school supply shopping"
" Ok then lets go"
6 Hours Later
I came home late. I bought seven pairs of shoes. Ten tops and 5 pairs of pants and all of my school supplies. I went to my room put on some blue fleecy pj's and put my hair in a ponytail. I dozed off In about 5 minutes. I knew that this year was gonna be the best.
