Hermione having come back from changing into her robes , sat down next to Harry who was staring out the window absentmindedly ... "hey Harry" "what?!" "just checking if your alive!" "ok" Ron looks at them and mutters something to himself. Ron gets up and looks outside the compartment door , "something's going on down the corridor guys...." "ahem Ron..... " said Hermione looking rather mad. "sorry !" "i wonder whats going on." Hermione thought aloud. Harry shrugged. "Oh look the train is slowing down we must be here!" said Hermione happily. "good I cant wait to eat" voiced Ron.

As the trio walked into the familiar great hall they took there seats As soon as every one was in there the sorting started almost immediately after. "I wonder what the rush is!' Ron thought . " dunno ,don't care." said Harry.
Professor Mcgonagall stood up and called out the names for thew sorting hat "Jennifer Gangs" HUFFLEPUFF! "Robbie Nickols" RAVENCLAW! "Jessica Pewter" SLYTHERIN! And so on until.. "Dylan Hamander" HUFFLEPUFF!
As the last student went to his table Dumbledore stood up " I have a few announcements to make .. 1st years should notice the forbidden forest is obviously forbidden , and we are having some special students from america coming to our school !" Absolute silence followed.. " you should all be pleased to know that the students from 'Gulfport institute of magic, and sorcery ' are all going be staying in your dorms and they will be sorted like normal students as they are.. *ahem* dealing with some other problems in the states so that is why they will be here." Still silence. "let the feast begin" declared Dumbledore. And the plates filled with food
