"A stormy night"
by Sara Jaye

Well, what have we here? A bit of Amiboshi&Suboshi fluff I whipped
up outta nowhere! XD Incidentally, I was just telling a friend how much I
wanted to get a story finished over Christmas vacation. An hour later I'm
watching TV and *puuuf!*-inspiration and a VERY short piece of fluff! ^_^
Yes, I know my last short Amiboshi&Suboshi fic involved a storm, but what
can I say? The storm angle's one of the few cliches I actually LIKE. :P
And for once...this isn't shounen ai hint-filled! *gasp* :P

[Disclaimers: Fushigi Yuugi belongs to Watase Yuu, I'm just borrowing the
characters for awhile.
This is fluff. It has no sort of a plot whatsoever except Suboshi crawling
into Amiboshi's bed during a storm. No slashiness, but if plotless stuff
isn't your kinda thing, don't read and then complain to me that this had
no plot. :P]

~

CRASH! BANG!

Suboshi shivered and pulled the blankets over his head. It was too cold in
here.

CRASH!

And the storm raging outside wasn't helping one bit. In fact, it only made
things worse.

BANG!

"Aahh!" Suboshi shuddered and buried his face in his pillow.

CRASH! BOOM!

Suboshi hated storms. Actually, he was afraid of them, but he wasn't about
to admit that. It'd ruin his tough-guy image.

"Besides, what's there to be afraid of anyway? It's just water!" he told
himself.

BOOM!

"And a lot of noise!" he yelped. "But still, it's nothing! It's nothing to
be afraid of...come on, Suboshi, you're 15 years old."

CRASH! BANG! BOOM!

"Screw that!" He jolted out of bed and ran down the hall.

"Huh?" Amiboshi awoke to the sound of knocking, then the door swinging
open after the person outside realized it was unlocked. "Otouto?"

"Aniki, can I please sleep in here with you? It's too cold in my room!"
Suboshi whispered. Amiboshi smiled. They both knew why the younger twin
was here.

"Here, crawl in," he said, pulling back the covers. Suboshi jumped into
the bed beside his brother.

"Thanks, aniki," he murmured. Amiboshi pulled the blankets around them and
wrapped his arm around Suboshi.

"That better?" he asked.

"Mmm, much better," Suboshi said as he snuggled against Amiboshi.

"Good. Now go back to sleep, Shun-chan," Amiboshi yawned.

"Night, aniki," Suboshi said sleepily as he closed his eyes.

CRASH!

"Night, otouto." Amiboshi gave his twin a comforting squeeze, then closed
his own eyes.

In his sleep, Suboshi smiled. This was the one good thing about these
storms!

~End~

Ah, the rush of writing a short story and finishing it in the same
day! XD *feels proud* It's short, it's plotless, and it doesn't have as
much snuggling and stuff. Oh, well. ^_^
