Note: I'm not entirely sure if this kind of thing is allowed on fanfiction.net, but I was a little upset yesterday and wanted to write it, so I did. If it's not right, I will take it down.
Disclaimer: I wish I could write something sparklingly-interesting and witty here to illustrate my point, but I can't, so I'll just have to say simply that no characters/scenes/locations/anything-but-the-word-order belongs to me. It is all property of J.R.R. Tolkien or Peter Jackson and team.

Oh Faramir, the loss of thee I mourn. The tales tell thee now, as not the kind, farseeing student of Mithrandir, but as thy brother reincarnate – one to make the same mistakes as he, and to learn only in time and grudgingly. No wisdom now, no good judgement of character for which thee were so loved. Nay, thy gentleness has given way to violence and harsh words. For that, I mourn thee. So few now know the truth, so few see thy true spirit. Only in simple words does that now live, only simple words do justice to thy nature.
