All I Want For Christmas By Jessica H.

"So, Sara, see what I got here?" Sara looked up from her work to see Greg leaning against the doorframe, waving mistletoe around.

"Why, Greg, you've got something. Do you know what it's called?" She said sarcastically.

"Mistletoe, Sara, also known as Phoradendron flavescens." He replied smartly. He sauntered into the room and held it high above their heads.

Sara looked up from where she was sitting and grinned. "I do believe you're coming onto me."

"No, I just felt like hanging a parasitic plant over your head. I find it romantic." He smiled at her.

Sara stood up and reluctantly brought her lips to his.

They kissed each other sweetly. Their kiss became more intense and Greg had to drop the mistletoe. Their arms wrapped around each other, Sara's work long forgotten. She couldn't believe what she was doing; this was GREG for crying out loud. But the kiss was so right; she just surrendered herself to it.

Just then, a soft knock came at the open door. The two broke apart quickly and ran their hands through their own hair, trying to look as if they hadn't been doing anything.

"Care to share with the class?" Grissom asked, a knowing grin on his face. He looked at the pair through his glasses.

"Um, he just-he had mistletoe, and so . . ."

"Don't bother, Sara." Gil turned and walked away as suddenly as he had come.

"That-was embarrassing." Greg said, turning red.

"Did you feel it?" Sara asked in a rush.

"Feel . . .what?" He looked at her questioningly.

"That . . .never mind, I must have been imagining it."

"O . . .k . . .anyway, don't you have to be working on your case?"

"Yeah, actually, thanks for reminding me . . ." Sara sat down and got to work again.

"Women," Greg muttered as he walked out.
