Ode to the 5th Book
I've read them 'bout a million times
Books 1 through 3 plus 4.
I cannot stand the wait much longer
I simply must have more.
I've already saved a spot for them
On the end of my bookcase
The carpet in front of it is worn thin
From my eternal pace
Oh J.K. Rowling! Please rescue me!
The world awaits your 3 last books!
Let's speed the process up a bit.
And have me write on Ron's good looks!
Has something deadly gone amiss
Deep within our Harry's world?
Will Harry and Ron save the day?
We can only watch as your story is unfurled.
Is something stopping you from writing?
Is it the fault of you-know-who?
Or maybe Snape's kept you in detention!
Are you trapped in a lecture on S.P.E.W?
Whatever the case, please make it wait!
That is of course, unless you've found the real Ron.
And if that's the case, the books can wait!
I'll find a plane to jump on!
