A/n: I got the names for my characters from a Japanese dictionary with the three different words for "Mischief."

Kigai – Mischief (Evil, harm)

Yakkai – Mischief (Trouble)

Itazura – Mischief (Petty annoyance)

*Slosh*

Kigai was not happy.

*Slosh - Slosh*

Kigai hated his new assignment.

*Slosh – Slosh - Slosh*

He hated this pathetic excuse for a weapon.

*Slosh*

He hated the repetitiveness of his meaningless task.

*Slosh – Slosh*

And he REALLY hated his disguise.

*Slosh – Slosh - Slosh*

"AGH!" Kigai screamed on the inside. He was the spirit Kigai, the spirit of evil, son of the great Yakkai, spirit of trouble. Why had those in the kami world decided to deny his greatness and give him such a small and pointless task? This wasn't even a job fit for his younger brother Itazura, the spirit of petty annoyance.

The thing he really couldn't understand was the praise he had received at his class reunion. He had always known he would be destined for greatness, but with the recent drawback in activity thanks to his "job" he had been greatly ashamed when he had finally met up with his classmates again. Yet they had spent the whole time praising him for his ingeniousness. It had to be a joke, he figured. They were all just mocking him. Yeah, that must have been it.

Then maybe there was more to his task than he thought. Sure, maybe he couldn't see how this was possibly doing anything to case havoc, but maybe there was some kind of greater cause.

Yeah right. Who was he kidding? There was no way around it, Kigai had hit rock bottom. He grumbled to himself, completely missing the location his targets hit, not paying any attention to his actions.

"Ah man! That's the fourth time this week!" Ranma-chan glared at the old women obliviously watering her sidewalk with her ladle. "One of these days, I'm going to get that old lady."

"Come on Ranma, it's just some poor old lady. She couldn't know." Akane replied to her drenched fiancé.

"I'm not so sure. Sometimes I think she does it on purpose or something. I mean who washes down her walkway all the time anyway?"

"Oh honestly Ranma. That's ridiculous."

Ranma-chan sighed. "Yeah I guess you're right. Let's go find some hot water before school starts." Ranma-chan walked away looking after the old lady suspiciously.

Once again Kigai was miserable. What kind of mischief could an old lady cause anyway? And why in the world would anyone bother to water down their walkway everyday? The spirit noticed a small black pig that was squealing at him.

"Ah get lost you little runt."

This was no big task for Ryoga.
