A/N: Hummm....my first Slayers anything! Yatta! I'm
expanding my horizons! This is Sylphiel's POV on Gourry (as if that
wasn't completely obvious). Why Sylphiel, you ask? I asked
myself the same thing. I really don't like her at all. In fact,
this is just an excuse to write something of the Gourrina bias (That's
right! They're my 2nd favorite animè couple!). So, alright!
There ya go! It's a short little piece, and reviews are appreciated!
Blond hair, blue eyes, tall and so strong-
Perfect in every degree.
But I found when he smiled his warm, loving smile,
It was never a smile for me.
The stars in his eyes are just like the stars
That at nighttime reflect off the sea.
And those stars shine the brightest when lit by a flame-
A flame that I can't ever be.
And every night when he talks in his sleep,
I can hear his words light on the breeze.
The one he always calls out for is her,
But he never has called out for me.
When he said he'd protect her, she asked him exactly
How long that was going to be?
His answer to her was the rest of his life-
That's a promise he'll never make me.
