Sango and I are on our way home from Kagome's Christmas party. I turned on the radio.
~I look at her and have to smile as we go driving for a while~
I peeked at Sango out of the corner of my eye
~Her hair blowing in the open windows of my car~
She looks so beautiful with the wind blowing through her hair
~As we go, the traffic lights I watch them glimmer in her eyes~
Her eyes are sparkling, she's happy seeing Kagome again after a long time
~In the darkness of the evening ~
She's quiet. She's listening to the song. I know.
~And I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she's inches from me~
A smile graces her features, making her look more beautiful than she already is. She likes the song. Not to mention she's at the "passenger seat." I smiled.
~We stop to get something to drink~
"Sango" I started
"Hmm?" she said
"I'll give you my present now." I told her, turning my convertible to a different direction
"Okay." Then "Where are we going?"
I smiled at her. "You'll see"
~My mind clouds and I can't think scared to death to say I love her~
We reached our destination. I heard Sango take in her breath. We were at a cliff, overlooking the city. The city was beautiful at night, especially now, with Christmas lights all over it.
"It's beautiful.." she said
"Not as beautiful as you." I said
~ Then the moon peeks from the clouds ~
She looked at me, surprised "wha-"
I put my finger to her lips. "shhh.."
~I hear my heartbeat it's so loud try to tell her simply that ~
"Sango..will you live with me and bear my children?" I asked
Her eyes grew wide.
I leaned my forehead on hers and sang softly, together with the radio.
~"I've got all that I need
Right here in the passenger seat
Oh and I can't keep my eyes on the road
Knowing that she;s inches from me"~
"..this song is Passenger Seat by Stephen Speaks is dedicated to Sango. 'I love you' from Miroku." The DJ said, lowering the volume of the song then raising it back up after his 'message'
Sango looked at me, surprised. I smiled, cupped her face in my hands "I loe you" I said. She closed her eyes. When she opened them again, tears were glistening.
"I love you too." She said
I smiled again and pulled her face closer to mine till our lips met.

When we pulled away, I put my forehead against hers and said
"Merry Christmas"
