Not a serious fic., just a little Christmas Fun!
Santa Baby
By Teri
KWJZ, Sunnydale, plays Christmas songs 365 days a year. By the last week of Christmas virtually all radios in Sunnydale are tuned to the station. It can be heard in the high school guidance office, in the local magic store, in the office of the construction company finishing the high school, even on the car radio in a black Desoto. All of Sunnydale listens.
"This is Cameron Parker and *this* is Christmas request weekend. All songs played by request." The voice of the announcer came over the speaker. "Our last song was a local favorite, 'Elmer, the Stoned Reindeer' by Dingoes Ate My Baby. Let's take our next call. Caller you're on the air, what is your name?"
"I'm Anya. I own the Magic Box, a perfect spot for all of your Christmas shopping needs. We take all major credit cards and, of course, cash. We like cash. We are located at the corner of . . ."
The radio announcer cuts her off, "Anya, would you like to make a dedication?"
"There is one song that shows the true meaning of Christmas, the way it is meant to be. Play 'Santa Baby' for Xander, my Santa Baby."
Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight
"That was Santa Baby sung by Ertha Kitt, dedicated to Xander from Anya. Sounds to me like someone is looking for a very special Christmas present this year. Next up, 'I'll be home for Christmas' received by e-mail from England. After this commercial break . . ."
MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, SAFE NEW YEAR!!!!
Just a little fluff to wish you all a Happy Holiday. I just knew this had to be Anya's favorite song.
