I don't own warcraft 3. or arthas. or dire wolves. okaY?? blizzard does. got that? good. great!! sugoi. thats nice. now on w/ the ficcie. ^_^ -- he walked down the path, leaves crunching under his paws. his hair glistened in the breeze, waving back like the water in the ocean. he stoped and stared at the sight before him. a pool of icey cold water flowed freely at his feet. The water washed through his soul, cleansing it, calming his features. He got down and let it soak his fur. The water was cold, yet warm. it seemed to hold him, protect him, shelter him against all the evil feelings that thrived in his heart. He felt the evil spirits leave his body and float away. The breeze carried them onward until they left time. he layed there, in the pool of icey cold water, alone. Yet he wasn't alone. He was free. Free to roam the land. He tried to get up, but he wasn't used to this feeling. It was as if his legs were shorter. He looked down, and at first didn't understand what he saw. he had been turned into a boy. a child. Not an evil, vicious dire wolf. He was a child. Many memories were coming to him. Things he had never imagined. His name was Arthas. He was a prince. He was five years old. Arthas looked down at the pool of water he was still siting in. It seemed to encourage him. He stood up. He couldn't remember how he did it. But the memories that came to him were helping him. Telling him how to walk, to talk, like the human that he now was. He walked out of the pool of water, across the muddy path and to a tree. Its leaves blew in the breeze like his black fur once had. He then remembered more. Something sad. It made crystal clear tears slide down his tender face. The far seer who had made him. He was a human now. Not an orc. And as a price, one day he would fight the orcs. And the far seer, Rainclaw Daijo. The far seer had summoned him. In the middle of a terrible battle. He fought hard, and won. When the far Rainclaw started to walk away, he and the shadow wolves were left behind . Unwanted. The wolves started to disappear. One by one. when finally he and one shadow wolf were the only ones left. The shadow wolf was starting to dissolve. Yet right before he died, he threw a sack of potatoes at him, and yelled "Eat These!!". then, he was gone. The dire wolf had no feelings then, no tears. The spirits were still inside him. But he did what the shadow wolf said. He ate the potatoes. And he ran away. And because of that shadow wolf, and those potatoes, he never disappeared. He became a real creature. Not summoned, but real. He hadn't known it at the time. But now that he was human, he remembered everything. Of both lives. He walked down the rocky path into the village. His mother ran up to him. Tears slid down his cheeks once more, as he ran up to his mother and hugged he as tight as he could. She didn't understand, didn't need to, as the lovingly hugged him back.
