Mother-Daughter Moments By: Lanabana

~~ I don't own ALIAS, but boy if I did, I'd buy a house where S&V could live, If I was a writer but then again no,,, sorry got carried away~~

Sometimes a girl just needs her mother, and though I hate to admit it, this would be one of those times. As I sit staring at my computer screen, surrounded by research, my need for my own mother becomes painfully obvious to me.

This may seem like a setback to most. After all, I AM a well-educated woman, who in theory should be capable of writing a little graduate school dissertation without her mommy's help. However, I also have TONS of field experience, and I don't mean in literature! No, my field work is actually the source of my problem, in that I am always out there, working, instead of in here, studying!

So now here I sit, with two free weeks from the worries of work, part of Sloane's Christmas present, to spend writing the most important paper of my educational career, one that will determine any future occupation, should I live through my current one, and I am just having a good ole' fashioned case of writer's block!

It took an hour for me to reach my maximum frustration level, another 5 minutes to retrieve any and all forms of chocolate from the kitchen, another 30 minutes to remember that my maternal parental unit was a former college English PROFESSOR who just happened to be staying in town for the foreseeable future, and another 45 minutes to get myself and all my research down to the secret CIA headquarters.
