The Jackal
This is a story told from a jackal's point of view. The journal/ record was written by a jackal, it was recovered by earth's forces after a battle and translated into English.
Prelude
"The ships descended upon the earth and tore it to shreds, all the earthlings were destroyed by the hands of the far superior covenant army. This is what I would like to be hearing in my ear now. However some of the forces I had sent on this mission were weak and pathetic. I know you won't let me down." The head military commander continued his speech. My name is gragraarchx. I am a jackal. The head military commander has asked me to keep a record of the events that are going to transpire. So far I am in this huge meeting hall with a thousand grunts, a thousand elites, and approximately 150 hunters, we are going to wipe out the entire human race. Those disgusting dirty pieces of filth. I lost two brothers in the last attack upon the earth. Those basterds are going to pay. The head military commander has finished his speech now. All of the troops were now preparing to board the covenant drop ships, myself included. I cannot wait till we get to earth. We are going to blow them away.
