She won't get off the phone
She won't leave me alone.
When I'm talking to that guy
"Lily, get off the phone," I hissed " Just a second, Pet." Lily covered the phone while she talked to me then went back to talking to her freak friend. "Yeah, yeah, well I gotta go" "Finally," I huffed. I dialled the number of my boyfriend. "Well, aren't you going to leave?' "No," Lily said with a grin.
She can be a real nightmare
Gets me to do her hair
Then says it never turns out right
"Oh Pet. how can I tell you? That isn't quite what I meant"
"Lily, you're never grateful for anything I do! I try and ignore your freakishness and you don't even care."
But when I put on a face
She can tell

" What's wrong, Pet?" Lily said in alarm. "He dumped, Lils, he dumped me. He said I wasn't pretty enough," I choked through tears.

An hour later I'm still not in.
