The childhood of a Giant.

~ I don't own Harry Potter or anything related to it. I leave that up to the brilliant J.K Rowling and WarnerBrothers. ~

"I trust you realize the importance of this mission, Hagrid." "Yes sir. I understand Dumbledore." "Good, I trust that you will be able to win support." " Yes sir, I believe I can." "Good. Then, good luck to you. I trust you are taking Fang with you?" " I am." " Good, we await your news. Return home safely." Hagrid stepped out of the office into the magnificent castle of Hogwarts. As he walked on, he thought about what Dumbledore had just said. He was playing an important part in the war. He was an ambassador to the Giants, and as Dumbledore said, they were a key asset in defeating Voldemort. They were powerful enemies, large and strong. No death-eater would want to face a Giant alone. Dumbledore had also said that Madame Maxine might accompany him and join him later. Hagrid was going alone for a few days though. He had some personal matters he had to attend to. As Hagrid walked on through the castle he saw Fang waiting where he had left him standing. " Hallo, yea rotten beast! Did ya miss me?" Fang put a paw over his head. " Come on Fang, we have got business to do. Take a look at this castle. We won't be here for a whole month. Ah, you'll miss 'Ogwarts, but it can't be helped. I'm going ter see someone special to me. " In response to his, Fang put the other paw over his head. Hagrid put Fang on a leash and walked out of Hogwarts into the summer sun. He walked with a spring of confidence in his step. Like he said to Fang, he was going to see someone special.
