Lucy was sitting with Kevin on the front step. She sat there quietly starring at the gorgeous dimond engagement ring Kevin had given her the previous night.

Kevin: We should probably tell them some time soon.

Lucy: I know.....but....lets just wait a little longer.

Kevin: Why should we wait? I think they'll be happy for us. Don't you?

Lucy: Yes, it's just that......it's hard to explain but can we please just wait a few days?

Kevin wasn't sure of her reason behind all of this.

Kevin:i don't know Luce......

Lucy: Please, for me?

Kevin: Alright. But just because you asked me to.

Lucy: Thank you.

She kissed him softly.

Kevin: I've got to go. I have to start work in half an hour.

Lucy: Okay....but remember not a word of this to anyone.

Kevin: Promise.

Kevin walked down the front steps. Lucy was sure of her decision. She just hoped Kevin would keep the secreat.
