In a dark room a lighted cancle is easily found to diurnal eyes.
Could thy now nocturnal eyes find it?
O Nazgûl, were I to shine light in thine eyes,
Couldst thou see it?
Would it blind thee?
Or is thy darkness thine own shroud?
Is it thy companion? Couldst thee live without it?
O Nazgûl, could I, I would bringeth thee back,
Back to the light.
