Unforgivable :chapter one
A/N: Hey this is Vivian and Audrey and we decided to write a story together..it is in my account though. I hope you enjoy it! Please R/R!
Hermione Granger felt like she was home at last as she arrived at the big oak doors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry foir her last year. Taking a long look around at the familiar faces of people in the Great Hall, memories came flooding back to her from the previous year. No matter how many times Filch or Snape finding them, they would go out again night after night, looking for new adventures to encounter. As she caught a glimpse of Harry and Ron motioning for her to come join the Gryffindor table, she glanced over at the Slytherin table and saw Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. She could not believe it was the same Draco Malfoythat she had gotten to know better from last year. Last year, they both had realised that they were not that different from eachother. They even "went out" for a breif time. Until Draco had done something unforgivable, something that even Harry was surprised that Draco would do such a thing.
Draco's POV:
While Draco was criticizing his goonies Crabbe and Goyle, he suddenly had the feeling that someone was watching him. He quickly turned around to see Hermione's big brown eyes staring at him with so much emotion. She turned her eyes away from him in a second. Just that one second reminded him of what he had done.
Flashback to Sixth Year:
Draco and Hermione had been friends for about two months. He had just come out of a very long class of potions with the Ravenclaws (Dumbledore had decided to change the house pairings for a while) and hurried to the DADA classroom where Hermione was just emerging from.
"Hermione.." Draco said under his breath, and walked up to her slowly.
"Hey..how was potions?" Hermione asked.
"Potions was ok, some mudb- I mean Ravenclaw nearly got their hand burnt off, and that was the only high light of the class...listen, I need to talk to you, it's important!"
But Hermione wasn't listening.
"Ok, Ron, I'll see you there..I'm sorry Draco but I promised Ron I would help him in Charms, he's waiting for me in the common room, whatever you have to talk to me about has to wait."
Draco looked up, with so much sadness in his grey eyes.
"Oh ok..well bye.." He walked away, hurt and confused.
Back to the seventh year..Draco's POV:
Hermione never talked to me that night, even though my Father was dying from Cruciatus Curse..it had made him so weak and hurt, he no longer had the will to live. I was so mad at Hermione for not wanting to be with me...I liked her so much...she deserved what had happened. But Draco still felt a twinge of guilt.
Hermione sat down between Ron and Harry at the table. She slowly loaded her plate with food. Hermione had felt so grateful to be back at Hogwarts...but then, she just had to see Draco. And just that face alone, made her fell unhappy with what he did
Flashback:
Draco was staring into the fire, sitting on a silvery green chair in the Slytherin common room. He was so angry. How could Hermione do that to me? Draco thought. I told her it was important that I had to talk to her, she should have listened to me!
Draco stood up, and left the common room swiftly. He slowly walked down the dark halls of the dungeons. He had to be extrememly quiet, for even Snape wouldn't let him go if he was caught strolling down the halls after dark. He suddenly remembered that he didin't really know where the Gryffindor common room was...or the password. He sighed with frustration.
"Damnit!"
Draco ran back to the Slytherin common room, tomorrow he would spend the day with Hermioen, trying to figure out the needed information.
