This poem was inspired by the opening theme song for Inuyasha.



TO CHANGE THE WORLD

To change the world I must begin somewhere.
It might as well begin with me.
I am the one who can make a difference
By bringing money, food, or even a kind word
To the people who need it
And then telling others to do the same.

To change the world I must keep going.
The world is a big place
And it will take time
To create a change that lasts
And spreads over the entire globe
Making the entire world a better place to live.

To change the world I must face any obsticle,
Including the unknown barriers that still await me.
I must be persistant and never give up
No matter who or what stands in my way.
I must find the courage to continue
My slow and steady progress helping all of us.

To change the world, I must challenge myself
And learn how to love unconditionally.
