Everything you see I have seen before you,

Every tear you lose I have shed first,

Every whisper is from a voice I once had,

Every sound you hear I have also listened to.

Every breath you take is mine,

Every part of you belongs to me, as I created and shaped each part of you,

Although you think I'm gone I continue to watch you,

I watch you live the life I could be living too.

If only.

You are my son and though you hardly know me,

I love you and know I always will,

I am always here watching your every moment,

I am alive in you and I am with you through every part of time.

I only wish to be with you,

I wish you could understand.

You are my son and I love you though we've hardly met,

I have gone to you and I am easily forgotten,

But dead or alive I cannot forget you.

Never lose your ambition or sense of wonder,

No-one can take that away from you,

Live for the moment,

Live for me.
