Kay patted her stomach, it wouldn't be that much longer to Miguel will realize that he has to do the right thing and marry me. We'll live happily ever after with the baby. I think I'm having my first craving she thought as she had the sudden urge to eat chocolate covered bananas.
Kay made her way down to the kitchen and saw her mother chopping up fruits, perfect. "Mother do we have any bananas?" she asked looking into the refrigerator.
"Sorry Kay, I'm using all the fruit to make Charity some fruit salad" Grace said plopping the fruit she cut up into a bowl.
"Figures" She said under her breath
"Excuse me Kay?" She turned and gave her the 'you ruined Charity's life look'.
"Nothing, I'm going to the store, don't worry I'll be back late" she grinned and grabbed her coat and walked out the door. Kay started walking to the grocery store, she wished she grabbed a thicker coat, it was freezing outside. Suddenly a car pulled up the side walk near her. The window rolled down and revealed the driver; the infamous Fox Crane.
"Where you headed?" Foxed asked and gave Kay his million dollar smile
"What's it to you?" Kay said and decided to keep walking
"Someone has an attitude I see, do you want a ride?" he said slyly
"Do I look like a whore" She said giving more of her attitude, all she wanted was chocolate covered bananas, can't people just leave here alone? Fox laughed.
"Do you happen to know who I am?" he asked and stopped the car, Kay stopped walking too.
"Let me think, some one who's wasting my time?" She asked angrily, he shut off the car and walked out towards her and took her hand and kissed it.
"I'm Nicholas Foxworthy Crane" he said smugly, Kay took back her hand. "You can call me Fox"
"I'd rather not call you at all" She said and turned sharply and slipped on ice that covered the side walk, she groaned in pain.
"Are you okay?" Fox said as he tried to catch her, but it was too late.
Kay winced "No"
"I'll take you to the hospital" He said and tried to help her up
"Don't take me to the Harmony hospital, take me to Castleton" She said
"Um, Castleton is a half an hour away" He said and helped her into the car.
"Just take me there" She screamed, she was having terrible pains in her stomach. Fox got into the car and started for Castleton hospital.
"What's hurting you?" He asked after a few minutes
"My Stomach, I think.I think I just had a miscarriage" She said in disbelief
Fox looked at her like she was crazy "You're pregnant?"
"Yup, or at lease I was" She started to cry; now she'll never marry Miguel, Why did things for her always have to go wrong?
"Ok, don't cry, I don't think I can handle your hormones" He said sarcastically "So who knocked you up?"
"It's a long story" She sobbed, Fox just passed a sign that said Castleton was about thirty miles away.
"Well it looks like we have time" He said
Kay looked at him, what was she doing? She was in a stranger's car (a hot stranger if she might add" on her way to the hospital and about to tell my life story she sighed "Well it all started when my cousin charity came to town."
