A/N: This is my first CCS fic, actually, my first posted fanfic ever.
So.even if it's really bad, I know I probably shouldn't bother you like
this, but please R+R!!! Oh, and in this fic, Syaoran and Sakura have been
good friends for quite a while but nothing more and nothing less. This
story takes place in their first year of high school.

*The High School Life*
Chapter One: First Day of School
"Get up Sakura!" The little guardian beast screamed.
"Just five more minutes onii-chan!" an auburn haired girl murmured.
"I'M NOT TOUYA! Now get up!" the little yellow beast screamed, but there was no reply. All that seemed to change was her fist seemed to have curled up.
"SAKURA! I'M GIVING YOU TWO SECONDS TO GET UP! OR ELSE I'M GOING TO LET YOU BE LATE!" Kero screamed. Finally loosing his temper, Keroberos turned his back and pouted.
"Fine.be late! It's not like you ever are on time." he grumbled. Dejectedly, he crossed his arms and sat down. Suddenly, he turned around and, with an evil grin, suddenly jumped into the air.
"That's fine with me.I'll go get breakfast then.Hmm.what are we having for breakfast? Hmmm.Smells like.*sniff* *sniff*.Pancakes! Yeah!!! Eh.Sakura, since it looks like you're going to be late again, I get your pancakes, okay?" Seeing Sakura slightly shift in her sleep and nothing else, he sweat- dropped and wondered why he'd even bothered to ask. With a sigh, he prepared to turn around when Sakura's hand suddenly flew out and squashed Kero against the wall.
"Whaddidya just say?" She slurred.
Kero took a deep breath and was about to yell at her again when his mistress sat up, glanced at the clock, and suddenly gave an ear piercing "HOE!!!" that was heard throughout the entire house.
*downstairs*
"The kaijuu finally wakes up" Touya sighed as he took another bite out of his pancake.
*back in Sakura's room*
"HOE!!!! I'm going to be late!!! Kero!!! Why didn't you wake me up!!! Now I'm going to be late for the first day of school!!!" Sakura screamed while the little stuffed animal face-faulted.
"WHAT? I told you to get up!" Kero tried to say, but Sakura had already ran off into the bathroom. Discontent, Kero sat down on the bed before an evil grin once again slowly plastered itself on his face. "Oh well. More pancakes for me! Mwahahahaha!" he maniacally laughed as he zoomed down the stairs.
*in the restroom*
Gee, that was strange. I could have sworn I just heard Kero-chan laughing.Sakura thought. With another sigh, the soon to be high schooler turned back to the mirror and continued brushing her teeth.
Sorry this was such a short chapter.I'll try (Emphasis on try. Sorry, but I tend to write short chapters.) to make them longer next time.Anyways, please review!!! Arigato!!!
