Goodbye

"I don't understand Severus. We have a great relationship. We... I... why the HELL are you breaking it off?"
Severus closed his eyes.
"Hermione, you're getting too close to me. I'm dangerous... you will end up getting hurt and I don't want that to happen. I can't let that happen."
She shouted her reply: "No! I'm not going to leave you! I love you Severus! I love you..."
With his back to her, he said, "I love you too Hermione. More then you'll ever know. And that's why I have to let you go."
The door closed quietly behind him.
