AftermathChapter 1
Molly Weasley sat in the rocking chair knitting a new sweater as she watched her daughter toss and turn in her sleep. Ginny had been having nightmares ever since she came home from Hogwart, Ron too. The doctor had said that most of the children who had been there the day that Voldmort attacked did. It still worried Mrs. Weasley to no end to see her youngest children like this. So every night she would stay with one or the other until they fell asleep.
Finally Ginny stopped moving. Mrs. Weasley was starting to pick up her knitting when she heard Ron's door open and someone trying but failing to walk softly down stairs. She put down her knitting and followed him.
As soon as she heard her mom leave Ginny opened her eyes. She had learned a while ago how long to toss and turn to satisfy her mother that she had gone to sleep. Not that Ginny really could sleep anymore. Over and over again she kept remember the day after Voldemort's attack hiding in the Chamber of Secrets or any place else that she could think of. The faces of her friends and fellow students that had died or worst, and of Harry. Harry stand triumphant after the battle with Voldemort only to be stuck down seconds later by one of the Death Eaters. Moments later there was a bright flash and Harry and the Death Eaters were gone. Auror had been searching for a month now but there were no signs of Ginny's friend or the fiend that took him.
A soft tapping awoke Ginny from her thoughts. She looked up to see Hedwig tapping at the window. The Weaslys had inherited the owl and most of Harry's things after his disappearance. That's odd. Ginny thought why doesn't she come in downstairs.
Ginny got up and opened the window for the owl.

Dear Ron and Hermione,
I wanted to write you two individual letters but it appears that time has run out and one is going to have to do. First I want to thank you for being the best friends that I have ever had. I don't think that I could have gotten this far without you. I wish I could graduate with you but some things are just not meant to be. What is to be is that tomorrow I will face Voldemort for the last time and I'll probably not come back from it. Though I'll sure try my best to take that basterd out with me. If I don't come back I want Ginny to have Hedwig. It's her seventh year she should have a pet. Everything else I leave to you and Herminone to divide how you see fit. Please don't let the Dursleys get my stuff, not that they would care much. Until we meet again my friends.
Your friend forever,
Harry Potter
Ron put the well-worn letter down when he heard his mother come down the stairs. She stopped in the doorway and sighed.
"Another nightmare dear " she said.
Ron nodded. "Every time I close my eyes I relive it. It hurts so much." Ron shivered. Molly hurried over to her son and hugged him.
"What those Death Eater did to you and the other boys was wrong and when the Aurors find them they will spend the rest of their lives in Azkaban making up for it." She said.
"If they find them" Ron said sullenly. He looked down at the letter. "They never found Harry."
A crash from upstairs interrupted their conversation. Both Ron and his mother glanced up.
"That sounded like it came from my room." Ron said.
They both were stating up the stairs when one of the twins called down
"Mom, Ginny is gone!" he cried.
