Disclaimer: II don't own Digimon, Kingdom Hearts or the Kingdom Hearts theme "Clean and Shiny"… What the hell kind of title is that? Ah well, it won't be used 'til later, so hang tight.
Don't Go
By Kallis Brightsword
It was a rainy day in the Heighten View Terrace district. A familiar gang consisting of 3 brown-haired boys, 2 brown-hair girls, 2 blonde boys, a blue hair-boy and a purple hair girl arm-in-arm, the boy looking a little helpless, and a strawberry blonde girl, who was looking even more troubled than the boy was. Everyone had someone but her…Tai had Sora, Yamato had his music, which meant more to him than anything but his friends, TK had Kari, Ken had Miyako, or Miyako had Ken… either way. And of course, Izzy was just there for the movie. That and Davis, who he was being paid to look after (while Jun hunted during Yamato season). Of course, since Mimi had recently won the patented "Dream Date Of The Century" award, she was not to take this loneliness lying down…or walking home. Whatever she was doing while thinking about this. She needed someone…and quick.
"Hey Yama-chan…would you mind…"
"Concert." The blonde boy said coldly. Obviously, HE was not an option… old news. She had to move on to the next available possible vict- err… boyfriend.
"Izzy-chan?" Mimi asked the reddish-brown hair boy, who was having trouble keeping Davis in check.
"Could it wait, Mimi-san? I need to keep Daisuke from getting hit by a car or something."
Mimi sighed doubtfully. Knowing Daisuke, he wouldn't rest if he got the world in a little tin with his name on it. TK was a bit too young for her tastes, and if she tried anything Kari would be on her like a cat on fish. Fish with surprisingly good taste. Same deal with Tai and Sora. She had once again failed… loneliness had become her best friend. But with her streak, it would probably turn her down. She had nowhere else to turn… she needed a NEW fling. But where to find one? Her suddenly malicious eyes darted wildly. The park? Nah, she could step in dog crap while looking. Anyway, mostly old people feeding ducks. She was desperate, but she would never be THAT desperate. She looked around again. A For sale sign… on her neighbor's property? At least she had something to be happy about. No more neighbor shouting at her to turn down her music… but she backed herself up a bit. For sale? Hey, maybe…no. The chances of that really REALLY suck. Oh well. They were at her house anyway.
"Bye Meems." Sora said cheerfully, clutching Tai like a cupcake. Tai simply waved, and tried to keep Sora from suffocating him.
"Whatever, bye guys." Mimi shouted, as she slammed the door. At least she could crank up her music a little. Maybe play Kingdom Hearts a little? She might as well play the game Tai got her. But as soon as it got to the part with Riku holding out his hand in the beginning cinematic, the TV went off. "What in the hell? It wasn't thundering before…" She started getting a little scared when she heard a knock on the door, and a curse at how cold it was. She suppressed a scream, and rushed down the stairs. She sighed slowly, and opened the door. What she saw next could have killed her.
(laughs at readers) This is rich. Notice that there was no dialog in the beginning? It throws me off. I'll still do it in the Humor, but not in this story, unless I'm answering reviews. Cliffhangers are fun… Who was at the door? WHO KNOWS? ME! I DO! Wait… who was it again? (is handed a cue card) Oh yeah…. Him… I paid him a bunch to get him here. Ah well. I changed his name. (more laughing, and is zapped by the readers) … ^_^ Being an elemental is fun, 'cause you can't be zapped! (hammers come from the area of the readers) … -_-; Oww… I'm hurting now! Thanks a lot!
