I look different

So what?

What's it to you?

I'm the only one who should care

How I look or act

You don't own me

I can dress how I want

And do what I want

You don't control me

My parents are afraid of me

So are a lot of people at school

But I like myself this way

I've been called a freak

Almost anything you can think

Just for my looks

If you weren't as shallow as you are

You might see passed the outside

Because i've been told it matters what's inside

But you don't care

I have friends

Better ones then yours

They see passed my shell

Passed my makeup

They see me

Unlike you who just walks by

Without even a simple "Hi"

Just ignore me like always

We use to be great friends

Until that is I changed

And we split apart

I use to date your best friend

Until we broke up

And I changed

I had dated someone you despised

Just to show you up

But it didn't work

I grew to love him

But he was a cheater

And I was heart broken

That's when I changed

Changed and met new friends

After my old ones left me

You'll never know what my life's like

You have MVPs and VIPs

You're popular with all your little popular friends

So leave me alone

I can move on

Or can I?
