"I can't believe we can go out trick or treating again after 2 long years." Cameron said dressed up as orange Among Us player,
"Yeah. We got 2 years to catch up on our Halloween booty." Hinata said dressed up as a pirate,
"It feels good go out on Halloween once again. The last 2 years was so…dull." Michael said dressed up as the Undertaker (WWE Hall Of Famer Undertaker that is), we took our kids to go trick or treating the first time in 2 years with Michael accompanying us, took 2 long hours and it was worth it, we just returned home and while we were out, the 3 Head Maids in their street clothes were watching our house while we were out.
Meanwhile in the Monster World
"Looks like everything's back to normal Sundara." Valencia said,
"Well not everything's back to normal yet." Sundara said,
"Why is that?" Valencia asked,
"Well…I'd say 80% back to normal at least, because the coronavirus deal is still not over." Sundara answered,
"True, well it ain't over til' it's over right?" Valencia asked,
"Indeed. Plus the attack on Ukraine remains and the inflation is getting worse." Sundara explained,
"Well the government is to blame for all this mess." Valencia said,
"We promised to never talk about that." Sundara said,
"I don't fricking care, the truth must be told! Folks, the government ruined your lives and they're bleeding your finances dry…!" Valencia called out in protest, as Sundara grabs hold of her trying to restrain her,
"Knock it off girlfriend you'll get us into troub…" then Sundara was cut off by the TV signal sign off picture.
The ringtone of "Man In The Mirror" plays from Sarah's phone,
"Y'ello? Hi mom. We just came home from trick or tricking with the kids. What? She's here already? And she WHAT!? Okay. Okay, we'll be right over. Aaaah!" it Leona calling and as Sarah ended the called she squealed gleefully,
"So what is it honey?" I asked,
"My baby sister's at my moms and she got a special surprise to show us." Sarah answered referring to her youngest sister Mildred,
"Mildred? What surprise is that?" I asked,
"Come on baby." Sarah said as she grabs my wrist to head to the car,
"What surprise is that mommy?" Hinata asked,
"We're gonna find out." Sarah answered,
"You kids stay here til' we get back. These ladies are in charge. Can you 3 watch the kids?" I asked,
"Yes." Sofia answered,
"We'll be back." Sarah said and we took off,
"Well kids. What do you wanna do first?" Andréa asked,
"Well we can some of our candy." Michael answered,
"Sure, but just a few handfuls is enough for tonight." Auburn said,
"Well, we got plenty to save anyways." Cameron said,
"Oh. We should tell some spooky Halloween scary stories to kill time." Hinata suggested,
"Oui. I'm up for it." Sofia said,
"Can we tell those this time?" Auburn asked,
"Well you're our guests, so go for it." Hinata said,
"Yay." Andréa said,
"I'll guess I go first." Auburn said as she grabs Cameron on her lap,
"Have you kids read any Dr. Seuss?" Auburn asked,
"Well…" Hinata tries to remember,
"I think I heard of that name, but I don't recall…"Michael said,
"We don't know who this Dr. Seuss is?" Cameron answered,
"What?" Auburn reacted,
"Dr. Seuss is a famous storyteller, he made hundreds of books like 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas', 'The Cat In The Hat', 'Horton Hears A Who', 'The Lorax' and my favourite'Green Eggs And Ham'." Andréa said,
"Wait. He did the Grinch?" Michael asked,
"Oh yeah, those are the Dr. Seuss's classics. I do remember now." Hinata said,
"We saw those cartoons and movies." Cameron said,
"Well, I got a Halloween parody of my favourite Dr. Seuss story. It's about a flying mammal. I cute little mammal with wings." Auburn said,
"Let me guess. A bat?" Michael asked,
"…Yes. But not just any bat."
