Wheeler / Linka
Linka came home after going to the supermarket and bought some supplies for their home. She brought the samples that Greg gave her and put them on the kitchen table with her other grocery , after changing her clothes, she went back to the kitchen and started putting things in their place.
She was thinking about what Greg had said to her about his wives. How can a woman cheat on a generous and kind man who loves her? How can a person marry just because he wants to get money?
She felt pity for him and believed that he deserved a better marital life, she completely believed what he told her, it seemed very convincing to her, she didn't know that he was a good liar when it came to his interests, usually normal people can't detect the lies of people with personality disorders like Greg, maybe trained psychologists, or people with an innate talent for reading other people's characters, or law enforcement like cops like Wheeler.
"Hay, babe" Wheeler said as he walked in through the door, took off his police hat, and quietly walked towards her.
"Hi,Yankee, Moya lyubov'" as they share a kiss.
"Look what I brought you.! Your favorite". He waves the paper bag at her.
"Chinese food! Yankee this is YOUR favorite food." She said sarcastically, laughing.
"Well, I was thinking that you've been cooking for me almost every day lately, and since I don't want to cook, I bought you afresh ready-made food." As he prints consecutive kisses on her neck.
"Ok, change your clothes and let's eat together, I have to go shopping with Gi tonight, and No you are not coming with me, It's girls' night and I'm shopping especially for you tonight" .she was happy and smiling while talking to him
"Will you leave me alone tonight?" He's trying to make her feel guilty.
"Yes you big baby, you don't need your mother's breast anymore, do you" She arranges things in the fridge, annoyed.
"Oh yeah I'm a big cop I need my woman's boob". He tries to squeeze her breasts gently
"Come on Wheeler, I'm going shopping for you, I need a dress for our anniversary, It should be a surprise to you, Why don't you go to Kwame's apartment and play poker?". She gently pinch his cheek
"I was with Kwame, I just drove him home, Besides you don't need to squeeze yourself in a tight dress to look beautiful for me, you are the most beautiful girl in the world to me" He puts his arms around her waist and pulls her close to him.
A moment of silence as she looked into his blue eyes
"Ok, but you are not allowed to enter the shops with us it should be a surprise for you , you will wait for us outside. Also, you are not allowed to go around the women's underwear section and buy me the half of the store. Deal?" She combed her lips with his, then went back to arranging the groceries
"Deal "
She picks up the samples that Greg gave her and puts them in the freezer
He liked to stay close to her wherever she went, that's how he's been since he met her, he kept running after her until he got her, and now he's going to keep running after her, for how long? He does not know, he loves her very much, and he knew that he would enter the shops with her and influence her decision until she chooses what he likes. He will enter the women's underwear stores and choose for her what makes him feels hot, and take them off from her as soon as she wears them for him. To show her his love in a physical way.
"What are these things in your hand?" Wheeler noticed the Hanco company logo on the bags, and blood started to boil in his head.
"What, oh this stuff, Greg gave it to me"She wished Wheeler wouldn't be jealous, especially if he finds out that she had lunch with Greg, she wished she wouldn't tell him, but she had to, that she is honest with the man she loves.
"Why the hell would he give you anything?"
"Just to be nice, when we finished meeting he took me for a tour to their nearby factory and at the end of the tour he gave me these bags to try"She is trying to defend her position.
"Isn't supposed to be a fucking meeting only?" His eyes widened and his voice began to rise.
"Wheeler, what the hell is wrong with you? Greg is just an old friend. We talked a little about the factory we worked in during the training period, so he took me to the new factory, that's all."
"What... he's what... a friend?... Yesterday you told me he's a fucking gold customer and now he's a friend? "Here Wheeler started screaming and started swinging his hands left and right.
"Ooooh Wheeler, what's the reason for this sudden jealousy, we've been fighting over the same topic all this week." Then I went to the room angry. "I don't want to talk about this anymore" Before you slam the bedroom door hard.
"It's not about me being jealous, it's about him being a dick , just like the way he was before "He was raising his voice so she could hear what he was saying.
Wheeler was wandering aimlessly in the kitchen, looking at the bags that Greg had given to Linka angrily,
Trying to calm himself, he took a bottle of beer from the fridge and drank it in a hurry, muttering alone reviling Greg, his factory and his bags on the kitchen table.
Childishly, Wheeler took off his clothes and threw them over the sofa, and contrary to what she had always asked him, he threw his underwear on the bathroom floor, went to take Shower, trying to calm his nerves.
Linka was lying on her side of the bed, she does not like to feel weak and judged, sometimes she has to use stubbornness just to get her point of view, she can't bear anyone telling her what to do, this is how she was raised, and this is how she will remain, she is completely convinced that she is on Right, and you see that Wheeler's jealousy is never justified.
On the other hand, Wheeler was bathing in cold water, trying to put out the fire burning in his heart and in his head.
in his heart because he known Greg from a long time, was a threat to him, he was trying to get Linka, if they hadn't finished his apprenticeship and got out of town and got Greg busy with his business, his company, he might've been able to get her by then ( as Wheeler thinks).
As for the fire in his head, it is Wheeler's knowledge of Greg's personality. Wheeler is one of the policemen who can easily control the minds of criminals. Wheeler believes that Greg is not of a normal personality. He believes that he should keep Linka away from him as much as possible, but how is it possible for him to convince her of that?
After a short while, Wheeler came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist, found Linka lying on the bed with her back turned to him, he sat on the edge of the bed and he approached her, wrapped his arm around her waist from behind and paint her back against his stomach muscles.
"Babe, please put yourself in my shoes, wouldn't you feel jealous?" To soften the atmosphere.
"There is a difference, I am jealous because you always flirt with women, and you run after any beautiful face you see" angrily.
"Babe, I am no longer like that since we became a couple, your presence in my life is enough for me, you are my whole life" Whispering in her ear, he means every word he says.
"If I'm are your whole life, you should trust me, right? I'm not like you, I would never run after any guy who flirts with me" She's still angry.
"First I told you that I don't run after any girl after I got your heart, secondly I trust you, but I don't trust his intentions, how many times do I have to repeat this to you" Wheeler starts to get angry.
"You don't have to doubt his intentions, Greg is a good man and has no malicious intentions. Today, after we finished our factory tour, he took me to a restaurant for lunch. He was very polite and respectful and never overstepped his bounds" she knew he will be angry, but she couldn't find a better way to tell him that she had lunch with his enemy.
There was silence for a few seconds
"Lunch! Mmm …., what did you talk about at that time?" he's trying to curb his anger, and it's burning from the inside.
"Well. I don't know many things, almost everything…" She didn't finish her sentence and Wheeler interrupted her.
"Let me ask you Lin, is this GREG married or has a girlfriend?"
"No, he is not "She knew that behind his calmness there were volcanoes that would erupt soon, but she ignored the matter and insisted on her opinion.
"Okay . That is, Lin, you are not allowed to meet this man again. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR? This is where the volcanoes of anger began, he got out of bed and got dressed.
"What do you mean that I'm not allowed, you can't prevent me from meeting people" She sat on the edge of the bed and spoke angrily to him.
"No, not people. Only this ass hole, fuck, I can't believe this Lin, how you go with him, don't you respect my feelings, don't I mean anything to you?" He puts on his pants in a hurry and angrily.
"For god sake Wheeler, it's a restaurant, it's a public area not a hotel room" standing near the bed, against Wheeler.
"Of course, don't you see what he's planning for? Meeting with you ONLY YOU, then taking you to the factory with him ONLY YOU, Then lunch with him ONLY YOU. Don't you see?" He picks up his t-shirt which was lying on the edge of the bed, getting dressed quickly.
"So what? They are all a public areas, we was surrounded by people, and he was nothing but a genital man with me "
"Oh really, maybe he should propose to you in our anniversary then …. It's also a public area" He slams the bedroom door and walks out angry.
"WHAT ?" .Linka was stunned by Wheeler's last sentence, what does he mean? What is on his mind?
She followed him out of the room and started calling him. But he didn't answer her, and I found him at the apartment door getting out and wearing his jacket
"Wheeler stop I'm talking to you, what do you mean by that? Where are you going?"
"I don't know. I don't feel like I want to talk to you now". He opened the door and went out, she kept calling him but he continued his way. He did not answer, and did not turn his head to her.
Linka was nervously hovering in the apartment and thinking, why is Wheeler so jealous, it's not like him, yes he was jealous before, especially before they started dating, but he didn't stop her from meeting with someone, and he always trusted her, what happened now? Why exactly Greg? And what he means by let him propose in their anniversary?
The most thing she hates in life is for someone to control her and tell her what to do and what not to do
She thinks what she did is okay, he has no right to explode in front of her like this. But she really loves him and doesn't want him to be upset with her, she doesn't know what to do, all she knows.
She will not apologize and will not back down, she is very stubborn and that is how she will remain
