Friday evening, Maya, Jeff, Olive, and David were making their way out of the theatre after the show.

"It was so good!" Olive said.

"Brian was a great Seymour," David added.

"I liked the giant plant," Jeff said. Everyone laughed

Just then, Melody, one of Olive and David's coworkers, rushed up to the group holding an envelope.

"Olive! David! Somebody left this for you in the box office!" Melody said, handing Olive the envelope. She hurried away before Olive could say anything.

"What on Earth?" David asked, as Olive opened the envelope.

Inside were two tickets.

"We already saw the show?" Olive said. "And didn't you guys buy the tickets online?" Olive asked Maya and Jeff.

"We did…what do the tickets say?" Maya asked.

Olive turned them over.

She was silent for a moment.

"David," Olive said.

Olive just handed him one of the tickets. It said "Daddy-to-be." He looked at Olive's which said, "Mommy-to-be."

"Maya," Olive finally said.

"Maya," David said.

"Maya, what do you have to say for yourself?" Jeff teased.

"I have to say that I'm pregnant," Maya said, as tears came to her eyes. They were already in David and Olive's eyes.

"Oh my God," Olive said.

"Oh my God," David said.

"Congratulations!" Maya said, hugging each of them - Jeff did as well.

"How did you get these tickets?" Olive asked.

"Annie printed them. It was Jeff's idea for me to tell you guys here at the Hudson."

"I can't believe it," Olive said. "I just can't believe it."

A few days later - Olive and David invited Clementine, Rachel, Jesse, Kurt, Blaine, and Shelby over to their apartment. It was pretty crowded, but it was so important for every single one of them to be there.

Maya and Jeff were also there - hanging out in Olive and David's bedroom. They were going to make a grand entrance later.

"Maya and Jeff are coming too - but they're running late. Shouldn't be too much longer though," Olive told the group.

"Anybody want some hot chocolate?" David asked.

"We've got vegan hot chocolate too, Mom," Olive told Rachel.

Rachel laughed. "It is pretty chilly today. I would love some, thank you, honey."

Everyone else accepted the offer as well. David and Olive went off to the kitchen where the mugs were already ready.

First, they filled up Kurt, Blaine, Shelby, and Clementine's mugs which were mugs they already had.

Then, Olive filled her parents' mugs. These were special mugs that had been purchased the night before. Like Rachel, Olive liked the idea of making big announcements via special merch, but like Maya felt like t-shirt announcements were kind of overdone in their family.

"I wonder how long it will take for them to notice," Olive said, as she and David each carried a mug into the living room.

"Mom," Olive handed Rachel a mug.

"And Jesse," David handed Jesse a mug also.

"Thank you," Jesse said. He took a sip.

"Hey it says something," Jesse noted. "I'm the cool grandpa," he read. Jesse chuckled.

"That's funny - mine says 'I'm the cool grandma' Rachel read. "I…" Rachel looked at Jesse. Jesse looked at Olive. Clementine, Shelby, Kurt, and Blaine all paused mid-drink.

"We're not grandparents," Jesse said slowly.

"Maybe not now,"'Olive replied. "But you will be in July."

"Olive Maria…" Rachel started.

"Did you find a surrogate?" Jesse asked.

"Yes we did. She's actually here - she'd love to meet you all," Olive said.

"Do you guys want to meet her?" David asked.

"Yes! Of course!" Rachel, who was sitting between Shelby and Jesse, reached out for Shelby who took her hand and squeezed it.

"Oh, surrogate - would you come out here please?" Olive called towards her bedroom.

Maya entered, Jeff following behind.

If the group gathered in Olive and David's living room weren't shocked before they were now.

Kurt and Blaine looked at each other.

"Maya…you're Olive and David's surrogate?" Kurt asked.

"Yes. I may not have been a surrogate before, but I do know the amazing things that can come from surrogacy…I mean, hello," she gestured to herself and everyone's stunned silence turned to laughter.

"I don't know what to say," Rachel said, crying. "You're a third generation surrogate and you're helping me, your own surrogate mother, become a grandmother, and my surrogate mother, become a great-grandmother."

"My head hurts," Clementine finally said. "But that's okay because I'm going to be an aunt!"

Through all the excitement, the family had no idea there was one more surprise in store.
