We start off today in a forest as suddenly an explosion is heard. We then see a young boy, around his preteen years, wearing a white shirt with a red stripe on it and a blue vest with yellow outlines overtop, indigo shorts with blue highlights with black sneakers and a red cap with a marking of a ball in the shape of a "C" on it and a green backpack. He had slightly tan skin, dark black or raven hair, and brown eyes, each with a "Z" pattern underneath. His accessories include a white sweatband with a red marking on his right arm, called a dynamax band, and a black bracelet, called a Z-Power Ring, with a yellow lightning shaped crystal on it, called a Z-crystal, along with a single black glove on his left hand with a green gem inside, called a keystone. His name was Ash Ketchum, and his goal was to become a Pokémon Master.

"Alright gang, if we want to be ready for the World Championship next week, we to do some serious training", Ash said to his team, who spoke in agreement.

The first Pokémon was a little yellow mouselike creature with brown eyes, black ear tips, brown stripes on his back, and (what was most unique about him) red cheeks and a Lightning shaped tail. This was Pikachu, Ash's first Pokémon and best friend, with him since Day 1. He also possessed two unique powers linked to the Dynamax band and Z-crystal.

The second Pokémon was a 7 foot, slightly overweight dragon. She had orange skin with a yellow belly. She had small blue wings and a medium sized tail. She had a friendly face with a small horn on the top of her head and beige antennae. She was Ash's Dragonite, who met Ash when she was still a Dragonair(long blue serpent body with a horn and small wings on its head) on an island learning a new move. She evolved to save Ash and he added her to his team.

The third Pokémon was a light purple ghost. He had short arms and legs and a short tail. He had catlike ears, red eyes, and wore a big smile that showed his mischievous streak. He was Ash's Gengar. He and Ash met when he was haunting Cerise Labs, the place where Ash had been staying for the time being, after being abandoned there by his old trainer. After helping Ash fight off Team Rocket, his enemies, Ash offered him a place on the team. Like Pikachu, he possessed a power linked to the dynamax band.

The fourth Pokémon was a bipedal jackal. He had dark blue skin with grey on his arms and legs and on his face in the shape of a mask. He had a yellow furred chest and red eyes. He had a tail and metal spikes on the back of each of his hands and one on his torso. He was Ash's Lucario, who possessed a special power called aura and a similar gem to Ash's keystone that granted him a special form. He and Ash met after he hatched from an egg as a Riolu(a smaller version of his current form). Ash recognized his eagerness for battle and added him to his team.

His fifth Pokémon was a white duck. He had big, black eyebrows and a noble look. In one hand, he held a long spear sword and in the other hand, he held a shield, both seemed to be made out of leek. This was Ash's Sirfetch'd, who met Ash in the Galar region as a battle ready farfetch'd. Ash captured him after a battle with Lucario as Riolu.

His sixth and final Pokémon was a small green monkey. He and red hands and feet, a yellow face with a light red mouth. His hair resembled leaves and had a branch going through it. This was Ash's Grookey, who first met Ash after appeared one day in his bed. Ash and his friend Goh tried to find Grookey's trainer, before discovering that he belonged to Team Rocket. Grookey, after returning to them, decided he liked Ash better and let himself be caught by Ash after beating the Rocket trio.(in my version of events, it's Ash who becomes Grookey's trainer instead of Goh, because I feel like that's how it should have been. He still has Dracovish, it's just at Oak's Lab)

(When the narrator is talking, it will be in bold)Narrator: Well, it's a bright and sunny day in the world of Pokémon. Trainers are taking the time to train up their Pokémon. And it looks like our heroes are no different.

"Now, Pikachu and Dragonite, exchange Iron Tail and Dragon Claw", Ash commanded. "Pikaa", Pikachu yelled as his tail glowed a metallic sliver. "Barrrg", Dragonite answered as green energy flowed over her claws. The two moves then clashed together.

"Gengar, use Shadow Ball, and Lucario, use Aura Sphere". "Gen. Gar" "Aarra", the Ghost cried as he hurled a black orb at Lucario, who responded with an orb of his own, this on dark blue in color. The two attacks collided in an explosion.

"Sirfetch'd, use Night Slash and Grookey, collide with Branch Poke". "Sir" "Key. Grookey", Sirfetch'd's spear sword and Grooky's branch (that he removed from his hair) glowed dark purple and light green, respectively, and the two fenced.

"Wow Ash, your team is looking good." "Cinda", two voices behind Ash said. He turned around to see a boy around his age with tan skin, blue eyes, and messy black hair. He wore a grey sweatshirt with a Pokéball emblem on it and black pants. He was accompanied by a bipedal white rabbit that appeared to be wearing orange sport pants. He had orange fur tufts in his ears and was kicking a small stone up in the air. These are Goh, Ash's traveling companion, and Cinderace, Goh's starter from the Galar region.

"You said it go. I'm so pumped I can even stand it!" Ash said with stars in his eyes, Goh just sweatdropped.

Pikachu and Grookey then noticed a twinkle in the distance. "Pika?" "Groo?", they question as they go towards it. Ash soon notices this and calls after them. "Pikachu! Grookey! Hey, wait up", he then gives chase after calling his other Pokémon back. "Ash, wait!" "Race! Cin!"Goh and Cinderace say, not far behind.

The Pokémon come across what appears to be a broken ring or hoop. "What is this thing?" Goh says as he and Ash catch up. "I don't know", Ash says as he takes it, "but it looks kinda familiar".

"I believe I can answer that, my boy" an elder voice called to their attention. The boys and their partners looked to see an old man and a girl around their age walk up to them. The man had light grey-brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. He wore a red shirt, tan pants, brown shoes, and a white lab coat. The girl had braided brown hair, and what appeared to be a school uniform under a matching lab coat. She was holding a Pokémon that resembled a brown dog with white fur on her collar area and on her tail in the shape of a heart. This was Professor Samuel Oak, Chloe Cerise, and Chloe's Eevee.

"Professor Oak? What are you doing here?" Ash asked. "Well Ash, I was coming to talk to Professor Cerise about some research when I heard you were training in the nearby, so I had Chloe here take me to you" Oak explained. "Professor, what do you know about this ring any way?" Chloe asked. "Well now, kids. That ring happens to be what part of what I'm researching", He answered, "it belongs to the mythical Pokémon, Hoopa".

"Hoopa?" Goh and Chloe repeated. "Oh, now I remember. I encountered a Hoopa back in the Kalos region", Ash said as he fished around his pockets and pulled out his Rotom phone, a red iPhone with a face on the back and turned on the Pokédex. The screen turned on to reveal a small, purple Djinn like Pokémon with green eyes, floating hands, no legs, and horns. It also wore rings on both of its horns and one of its lower body. It was holding one of the horn rings up in the air. "Hoopa, the Mischief Pokémon. A Psychic and Ghost type. The rings on Hoopa's body can warp space and time. It takes things that it likes and sends them through to different places." The phone read.

"My research says that Hoopa's rings can even transport you to parallel universes, perhaps some with never before discovered Pokémon. Which reminds me of a poem." However, before the Professor could start, Chloe cut him off. "That's great, Professor. But, let's wait until we actually know if the ring actually works, first." She said with a sweat drop. "Vee." Eevee added

"Do you think any of that's true, Ash?" Goh asked his friend, but received no reply. "Ash?" He asked again to see the raven haired boy with a big grin on his face looking at the ring. "Ash?" He yelled. "Oh, sorry, just thinking about what secrets this ring might hold. "We don't even know if it works while, my boy. Why don't you hold onto in for the night, and we can study in the morning." Oak said. "Okay, Professor. You can count on me." Ash said. "Pika. Pika" "Grookey. Groo." Pikachu added as Grookey cheerfully tapped his branch on the ground.

Later on that evening, Ash stood in the backyard with the ring in his hand and Pikachu at his side. "Do you really think someone could use this ring to travel dimensions, Pikachu?" Ash asked. "Pika?" Pikachu shrugged. "What if we could be the ones to do it, buddy?" He questioned. "Pii?" Pikachu pondered curiously. "Imagine if we could travel to an alternate universe" Ash continued as Pikachu grew more excited. Neither of them noticed the ring starting to spark."Imagine if we could discover what new Pokémon await us!" Ash said "Pika! Pika!" Pikachu put a fist in the air. "What if..?!" Ash started but before he could finish, he let go of the ring. Ash and Pikachu both looked startled in a split screen. As if what Ash just said was a code or coordinates, the ring bounced of the ground, sparked, expanded, and opened up a portal, starting to suck in our heroes. "Ash! Pikachu!" Goh and Chloe said as the raced out to try and save the duo, but were too late. The ring then shrunk back down and fell to the ground. "What happened to them, Chloe?" Goh said panicking. "I don't know but it may have something to do with the ring being broken." Chloe said as she bent down to pick up the ring, but before she could, a shadowy figure blasted out of the forest snatched the ring and fled. "No Ash!" "Get back here!" The two screamed out.

Narrator: Ash and Pikachu vanished. The thing responsible taken by a mysterious thief. Where are Ash and Pikachu going? Who will they meet? Will they be able to make it home?

"Wahhh!" "Piiiikaa!" The two screamed as they fell through a blue void.

Hey everyone, Ace Xavier is here with a brand new story. Growing up, I loved both Pokémon and Wild Kratts and thought, hey, why not write a crossover between the two. It will be Ash inserted into the Wild Kratts episodes and helping out. I'll try my best to do both series right. Next chapter is the theme song. Next next chapter is where Ash and Pikachu meet the team. And now to go over a few things.

1. Ash will not receive his own creature power suit, but he may borrow Chris or Martin's from time to time

2. Ash will have access to his Pokémon on his team and at Oak's lab(like Charizard, Sceptile and Noivern), as well as his released ones(like Greninja, Butterfree, or Primeape) and the ones at Kuike's lab.

3. Hoopa might appear in this story, just not in the way you think.

4. Other Pokémon may appear in the Kratts' world will The Wild Kratts being able to catch some. Name the ones you'd like to see.

5. Team Rocket will appear. They have no reason not to. Mainly for the comic relief.

6. Ash's Pokémon will learn new attacks they haven't in the anime and will grow to.

7. The Wild Kratts will react to Ash's anime physics.

8. It has been revealed that Ash's Dragonite is female.

9. Ash meeting a Hoopa in Kalos refers back to the 18th Pokémon move, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

10. The whole "imagine if we..." thing Ash said is a reference to the thing live action Chris and Martin do at the beginning.

11. Pokémon won't get power discs yet as their DNA is a little complicated.
