I'm holding Abigail in my arms bleeding as a ambulance that Savannah called arrived and the paramedics took her unconscious body in the ambulance and Savannah said "I'll ride with her and I will wait for you to arrive to let know her condition. I promise Derek." I nodded and everyone loaded the gifts in Aaron's suburban as I put my hazards on and I personally escorted the ambulance wanting Abigail and Hank to be safe and when we got there I was shaking so much that Savannah had me go clean my hands and wait in the operating room waiting room.
Six hours later
Savannah came and got me and I started crying seeing Abigail hooked up to a ventilator and hooked up to monitors as bandages were on her belly and I'm holding her hand crying and praying for her to wake up and said out loud "This is the nightmare you had baby. I won't loose both of you. You're a fighter. You both are fighters. Show me." Her belly moved and I said "Yes. That's it Hank show daddy you're a fighter. Help mommy fight." I sat crying watching as a ventilator breaths for her. I fall asleep holding her in my arms in her hospital bed. I woke up to go to the bathroom and when I came back I run to the bed seeing her trying to take the tube out of her mouth and freaking out. I said "Baby. Baby calm down. You're safe. You're safe. Relax. Relax." She looks at me and slowly exhales raggedly as Savannah comes in and says "You don't need the ventilator anymore." She slowly removes the tube as Abigail coughs and says "Hank!?!?!" I placed her hand on her belly and said "He's alright. The bullet missed him." She sighed and said "What about the guy who shot me?" I said "He's in prison for two counts of attempted murder." She said "Okay. For if he got away I'd find a way to kill him myself." I said "Really baby? You would do that?" She said "No I'd just hurt him for trying to kill me and our son." I said "I know baby. I know. I want us to say our vows." She said "Now?" I said "In a few days we say our vows here in the hospital surrounded by the team. Plus there is someone I want you to meet that didn't get to make it to the gender reveal party." She said "Okay. I understand baby." There was a knock and he said "Come on in." In walked a man with grey hair and he said "Sorry to meet like this but I'm Supervisory Special Agent David Rossi. I was sick the day you showed up and had family business to take care of the day of the gender reveal." Abby says "Nice to meet you Rossi. We're having a boy." He walks up and says "Nice to meet the woman who Morgan plans to marry. He has told me all about you. I'm sorry that you've been through so much. I hope my gift makes up for my lateness." He hands her a long box and as she opened it she had tears setting the box to the side and pulling him into a hug saying "Thank you. He will love it." I looked and saw a baby blanket and took it out and laid it on her belly and we all watched as her belly moved some as she said "He likes it. I see him cherishing the blanket." Rossi said "That's good. I wasn't sure of cars so I had one FBI themed. Since his parents are FBI agents." She said "Oh Rossi thank you. You are so thoughtful." He said "Your welcome. It will be nice to see this kid settle down." She said "How did Hank and me so lucky to have him in our lives?" He said "He's the lucky one. So when's the big day?" She said "In a few days we'll be saying our vows surrounded by our team. Which is like a family." She than gasped squeezing Rossi's hand tightly as she is gasping for air and I'm lightly rubbing her back and belly as he's saying "Easy. Easy. Easy. Slow shallow breathing." As she raggedly does slow shallow breathing she loosens her grip and says with tears running down her face "I'm sorry." He wiped away her tears saying "Sh, sh, sh, sh it's alright. It hurt when he kicked." She buried her face in his chest and softly cried and gasped again as this time Rossi and me watched as Hank did a summersault causing her to grit her teeth gripping his jacket and than slowly exhaling saying "Damnit Hank that hurt mommy." I said "Abigail!" She looked at me and said "How would you feel having to feel the movements of a summersault inside your belly?" I said "Just please watch your language?" She said "I'll try but if I hurt and cuss just chalk it up to the pain except when I'm in labor." When she said that I held her in my arms and said "You will do great in labor for I will be right with you every step of the way." She said "You better. I don't want to deliver Hank by myself." I said "You won't. You know we need to get you a white dress." There was a knock and she said "Come in." In walked Aaron and he said "I have something that Derek has to cover his eyes on for now." She covered my eyes and I heard Aaron unzip a zipper and she gasped saying "Is that?" He said "Yeah. I'm having it altered to fit you." I said "Baby uncover my eyes." She said "Just a minute. Go ahead and zip it up Aaron." He zipped the zipper and she said "Okay. Now you can look." I said "You showed her a wedding dress that had to have been your mom's." She said "Yeah he did. I can't wait to be measured for the dress." JJ came in and said "Good for we need the measurements. Can you stand Abby?" She said "Yeah." Rossi helped her stand up and said "Lean against me Bella." She giggled and leaned against him and I watched as JJ held up a camera and said "This takes your measurements in picture form. First hold your arms out straight for a brief moment." She did and said "Derek I'm flying." Than JJ chuckled as she took that picture and had her turn sideways looking at the window to take her profile side and than Abby groaned and moved quickly to the bathroom to throw up and said coming out wiping her mouth "Whoever has pumpkin please get it away from me. I'm nauseous right now." We watched as a nurse walked by saying "Sorry dear I had a pumpkin latte. How far along are you?" I said "Four months. Does it get any better?" She tossed the cup in a trash can out in the hallway and gave her a syringe of nausea gel on her wrists saying "It will. You may be one of those mothers who is nauseous the entire pregnancy." She groaned and said "I hope not. But then again my son is very active." The nurse said "Boys are more active than girls."
