Raven is in the kitchen cooking for Devon. She's making some of his favorites. She wants tonight to be extra special. Her and Devon have always been able to over come any obstacle in their way. So to her this thing with Eddie was no different. She just wanted her and Eddie to go back to the friendship they once had. But Eddie wasn't making this a easy task for her. But Raven would deal with that later right now all that matters is her and Devon.

Raven: (Phone rang) Hello

Devon: I'm pulling up now

Raven: Okay honey come around to the back door. I'm just finishing up our dinner.

Devon: Okay

A few minutes later and Devon walked in the back door. To see Raven sitting their plates on the table.

Raven: Hay you (she look at him and gave this flirty smile)

Devon: Hay Rae you look beautiful (he walked over and gave her a kiss)

Raven: And you look so handsome hay wait where are your bags?

Devon: Oh I left them in the car just in case you changed your mind.

Raven: Devon I'm not

Devon: That's just a real big step Rae. I just wanna make sure your really ready and not just saying it. Because you think you owe me or something.

Raven: Aww your so sweet but I'm sure now go wash your hands and I will like some candles and then we can eat.

Devon: Okay (he walked up stairs to the bathroom)

Just then Raven gets a text from Eddie

Eddie: Rae I will be over there soon. You need to just give in to the idea of us I have. We should be together. Devon will never love you like I do.

Raven: (talking to herself) He's lost his damn mind

Devon: (walking back in the room and taken a seat) Who's lost their mind?

Raven: (quickly dropping her phone face down on the table) NO ONE!

Devon: You hidden your phone from me now?

Raven: What no my phone's right here.

Devon: Yeah it's right there face down, like it's something you don't want me to see.

Raven: Come on Devon

Devon: Let me see your phone.

Raven: I don't think that's a good idea.

Devon: Then I don't think we're a good idea Rae. (He said getting up)

Raven: (Getting up behind him) NO DEVON WAIT! (He turned around to hear what she had to say) I'm not hiding anything from you I just don't wanna ruin our night.

Devon: Well let me see your phone.

Raven: But Devon

Devon: Let me see it or I'm out of here!

She gave him the phone and he read the text messages from Eddie. Raven could tell by the look on Devon's face he was pissed.

Raven: Devon I promise you I'm not entertaining anything he's saying.

Devon: Rae you asked him to come over?

Raven: Yeah so I can tell him face to face that its not like that between us.

Devon: I don't know what's going on with him Rae but this ain't the Eddie we grew up with. The Eddie I knew would never push up on one of his boys girls.

Raven: I think it's just a miss understanding.

Devon: Well I don't, let him come but your not going to talk to him.

Raven: What?

Devon: I'm going to have a man to man conversation with him. And I want you to stay in the kitchen.

Raven took a deep breath and said okay but honestly she had a real bad feeling about all this.
