Lincoln Velazquez age 11 was many things, he was smart, brave and often called himself the man with a plan. He carried that last title of his on his chest and he vowed to use his powers for good and not evil you see before he uses noggin for good he was quite a little rascal causing trouble for his parents Jason and Elizabeth.
Johnny, a year and a half older with white dreads, one pupil smaller than the other (lending him an almost crazed appearance), black fingerless gloves, and an olive green coat, was confident, self-possessed, and bright. He was a master in the art of mayhem and had studied under the greatest minds in the business - Bart Simpson, Ryan Dunn, and Dennis the Menace. Though they were brothers, Johnny was black and Lincoln white, the former taking after their father and the latter their mother.
Across the street of The Loud House (1216 Franklin Avenue, Royal Woods, Michigan) is the home and residence of the Velazquest family. The two sons of Jason & Elizabeth were currently in their bed room.
Lincoln look to his brother, "Alright Johnny, this is it after months and months of episodes we've reached the season finale of ARGGH and nothing will stop us from watching this episode together!"
Johnny gave a smirk, "Yeah! This is gonna be epic! I can't wait to see Hunter Specter encounter the ghost of the Weeping Woman, the spirit said to stand in a corner facing the wall. Legend has it that if you approach her, she'll turn around and steal your face because she doesn't have one of her own."
Lincoln stared on, "Spooky."
3 hours before 8:00pm, Lincoln and Johnny went into the living room, but came up short.
Aw, man.
Dad sat in his Lazy-Boy with his feet propped up and a can between his legs. On TNT, AEW Dynamite was on: Two guys grappled in the middle of the ring while Jim Ross and Tony Schivone called the play-by-play. Dad was a huge wrestling fan and believed, even as an almost forty year old man, that it was real. I watched Undertaker send Mankind through the top of a cage at King of the Ring, he said once, that wasn't fake.
Sure it wasn't, Dad.
Lincoln slumped his shoulders, then remembered something.
The livestream.
Upstairs, he and Johnny sat on Johnny's bed and Lincoln fired up his laptop. "Thank God for streaming," Lincoln said.
Johnny nodded, "Yeah, nothing will stop us from watching this finale."
Suddenly the WiFi went out.
Lincoln glared at Johnny, "Way to open your big mouth."
Johnny didn't appreciate that comment so he shoved Lincoln who in turned pushed back, the next thing they knew they were in a cartoon dust cloud.
Limbs sticking out, punches being thrown, words being shouted. Eventually the fighting stopped leaving the boys injured and heavy breathing.
Lincoln sighed, "Look fighting isn't gonna get us nowhere so why don't we just figured out what happend deal?"
Johnny dusted himself off and got up offering a hand to his brother, "Deal."
Lincoln smiled and took the hand.
After investigating turned out not only was the internet was out. But so was everyone's phones. And the cable.
Last week, forgetting that he was a grown adult in his forties, Dad blew his paycheck on a meet and greet with Crowbar, Daffney, and David Flair, three nobodies from WCW who weren't even relevant when they were on TV.
Twenty years ago.
Dad came home so amped he trembled like a small, excited dog. With him was a bunch of crap that no one cared about: Signed photos, a T-shirt, and a bunch of action figures of fourth string literal whos who wrestled a couple times on WCW Saturday Night, the WCW's bottom of the barrel fifth rate showcase of mediocrity. "I got to meet Dave Meltzer," he gushed, "and Bruce Mitchell, and Bryan Alvarez, and Wade Keller. It was so awesome. I squeed!"
"Cool, Dad," Lincoln and Johnny had said in unison. They learned over the years to just humor the old man until he went away.
Normally, Dad was somewhat responsible with his spending, but not this time around. Oh no. He peed away most of the bill money and because of it, everything was shut off. Dad sat in front of the TV crying because he couldn't watch sucky old wrestling shows on the WWE Network. Oh boo hoo, fat boy, this is your fault.
Even now, Lincoln could hear his father's soft weeping from the living room. "Oh, shut up, Jason," Mom snapped, "this is your fault."
Ha, nice one, Mom.
"I'm so sorry," Dad wept.
"From now you, I want your check deposited directly into my account."
Dad cried even harder because he knew what that meant: No more making it rain on dumb stuff behind Mom's back, no more sneaking Big Macs on the way home from work, no more stopping at random tag sales and coming home with garbage, no more anything.
Johnny throw his arms in the air, "Great! We're gonna miss ARGGH! and there is nothing we can do!"
Lincoln did what he did best and started to think after a bit he opened his mouth, "Well we can always go watch the finale at the Louds?"
Johnny cringed the Loud's family was great and all but...uh...big. Very big. And very loud. They had 10 daughters ranging in age from seventeen to, like, thirteen months or something. Anyway, the Loud girls were cool, but once you got them all together, it turned into a madhouse real fast. Johnny wanted to watch ARGGH, not Lana and Lola bickering, Lynn picking her toenails, Lori bossing everyone around, Luan cracking dumb jokes, Lucy writing poetry, everyone talking, laughing, fighting, stomping, ahhhh, Jeez, shut up, MY SHOW IS ON.
Lincoln took noticed of his brother's face, "Look I know the Louds can be a bit much, but I'm sure if we explain ourselves and relax the girls will be cool."
Johnny let go of a breath he didn't even know he was holding, "Ok let's go to the Louds."
Lincoln smiled, "It's time to put Operation Ask The Loud Sisters to borrow their TV and Watch the Special Live Season Finale of ARGGH! and Think of Shorter Name For This Operation into action."
The two brothers were making their way across the street a group of kids played hockey in the middle of the street, two overturned metal trash cans facing each other and serving as goals. Lincoln and Johnny ignored them and started across the Louds front lawn when a voice called out to them. "Hey. weirdos!"
As one, they turned just as Lynn Loud Jr. rolled up on a pair of clunky, ancient skates that she either got fourth hand from her grandparents or dug out of a dumpster. Squat and wirey with short brown hair and a missing front tooth, she wore black shorts and an oversized red starter jacket with cuffs that constantly slipped over her hands.
"Hey, Lynn," Johnny said, and the glint in his eye told Lincoln he was already thinking of what was to come.
Lynn rolled down the walkway, then shuffled over the grass, her wheels tearing clumps from the ground. "You guys know what tonight is?" Lynn asked.
Lincoln watched Lynn stare at Johnny. She kind of had a thing for him.
Johnny smirked, "Of course, tonight's The big season finale of ARGGH!"
"I'm really stoked," Lynn said. "You guys should come over and watch it with us."
Lincoln jumped in, "Actually that's why we came over in the first place, we lose our cable and was hoping we could watch it here?"
One of Lynn's friends called out to her, and she screamed over her shoulder for them to wait. "Sure you can come over," she said, "we're gonna make popcorn and drink store brand cola until we puke." She uttered a breathy chuckle. "Anyway, gotta go, see ya!"
With that, she turned around and trudged off, tearing up even more of the lawn. When she was gone, Johnny swatted Lincoln's chest with the back of his hand and nodded to the front door.
Lincoln stopped Johnny from opening the door, "Remember be cool and they'll be cool."
Johnny nodded then turned the door knob, the duo made their way inside
Lincoln is alerted by the sound of the twins marching out of their room.
The twins start chanting, "Cartoons! Cartoons! Cartoons! Cartoons!"
Lincoln turns to Johnny, "What does you tablet say?"
Johnny checked his tablet which he modded to look like the Pep Boy from Fallout, "We got 2 hours and 30 minutes until ARGGH!"
Lincoln smirked, "Perfect,"
Lola looked downstairs, "Eeeee! Johnny is here Lana!" Lola runs down the staircase and hugs his right side.
Lana gets annoyed, "Hey, don't hog Johnny! I want to hold him too!" Lana follows suit and hugs Johnny's left side.
Johnny blushes of embarrassment and looks to Lincoln for help. Lincoln however just smirks and heads to the couch. Once he sat he reached for the remote and turned on the TV luckily cartoons were playing and that got the twins attention.
The twins then let go of Johnny.
Johnny let out some air, but that was short lived as the twins then dragged Johnny by one hand each towards the couch. They sat uncomfortably close on either side of Johnny and looked up at him with matching expressions of girlish reverence, making things mad awkward.
Luan then walked downstairs and took notice of Lincoln and Johnny, "Hey, Linc! Hey J-Johnny..wanna hear a joke?" Luan asks shyly, looking away while playing with ponytail.
Johnny looks to Luan, "Ugh Sure why not?"
Luan lit up, "Did you hear the one about the thief who stole a calendar? He got twelve months!" Hahaha "Get it?"
Johnny looked at Lincoln who looked back, "Wow that was...good." Meanwhile the twins groaned.
Luan then took a sit on the couch with the others, "You guys don't mind if I join ya right?"
Next Lisa comes downstairs carrying Lily and the duo take notice of Lincoln and Johnny.
Lisa put her younger sister down and adjusted her glasses, "Greetings, Lincoln & Johnny I was just about to gather some lactose, Triticum protein, sodium chloride crystals, sucrose, and gallus gallus ovum from our kitchen this evening."
Johnny looked confused, "Uh you want to get what?"
Lincoln chuckled, "She meant milk, flour, salt, sugar, and eggs."
Lisa giggled, "You say tomato, I say Solanum Lycopersicum. Oh before I go at approximately 9pm this evening, there will be a meteor shower and I was hoping that...perhaps…" she trailed off and blushed.
Johnny sighed in his head, but outside he said, "Sure, I would love to go star gaze with you after watching ARGGH."
Lisa squeals, but quickly collects herself, "Excellent, I look forward to spending time with you." Lisa then made her way upstairs.
Lily crawled up next to Johnny and batted her eyelashes. "Poo-poo," she purred.
Johnny chuckled nervously. "Uh...hi."
She laid her head affectionately on his knee and he tensed, then gave her back a stiff pat.
Lynn then busted through the front door, "Yeah! M.V.P in the house! Whoo!"
Lynn then ran over and jumped into Johnny's lap while snatching the remote from Lincoln. She then changed the channel to a football game.
Everyone gave a collective, "Hey!"
Lynn snickered, "Sorry, guys, but she who holds the remote holds the control."
Lincoln gave a deadpan look, "Really Lynn taking the remote from children have you no shame?"
Lynn gave Lincoln a side glance, "Nope not really."
Johnny tapped Lynn's shoulder, "Question, why do you gotta sit on me?"
Lynn gave him a small smile, "Cause your the best seat in the house!"
Lincoln had to bite his lip from laughing, meanwhile foaming with jealously.
Leni then comes from the kitchen, "OMGosh! Linky and Johnny!"
Lincoln and Johnny both gave a oh no as Leni came running at them. Leni then pick up them both up accidentally knocking Lynn off of Johnny's lap. Leni then gave a bone crushing polar bear hug.
Lincoln just accepted the hug once Leni got her hands on you it was game over. While Johnny tired to break free, he tried struggling, he tried pushing, even tried a crowbar, but aleast Leni was too stong
Leni rubbed her cheek against Johnny's, "I tots missed you guys so much! Where have you guys been?"
Lincoln gasped for air, "Well for most of the day we went to a little place called school then we went home."
Leni jumped up and down, "OMGosh! I went to school too!" Leni then stopped jumping, "How come we didn't see eachother?"
Lincoln chuckled, "You go to high school Leni, we go to elementary school."
Leni gasp, "Oh that like makes sense now."
Johnny was starting to turn purple, "L-Leni! let go!"
Leni smiled, "Ok! She then drops the boys like to stacks of potatoes and walks away.
Johnny took a look at his Pep Boy. They had 2 hours and 25 minutes left.
Johnny groaned, "It's only been 5 minutes!" Johnny then gets up and sees Luna coming in from outside.
Luna grins at the boys, "Hey, little dudes! TV tonight is gonna be rockin'!" She strums her guitar. "Yeah!"
Lincoln walkes up to the rocker and high fives Luna, "Sup, Luna you excited for ARGGH?"
Luna gave Lincoln a noggie, "You know it dude! Remember the last ep were the dude fought the ghost band that was sweet." Luna then walked over to Johnny, "Luv it's been a hot minute since we jammed we gotta bring that back."
Johnny rubbed his neck, Yeah sorry about ditching ya, but here I made you something to make up for it. Johnny pulls out from his jacket a colorful flashlight, "You can have your very own flashlight rock show in your bedroom."
Luna takes, "That is sweet! Thanks, Johnny!" She gives him a kiss on the cheek before heading to her room.
The other sisters were foaming again while thinking, "Why didn't I think to kiss him?!
Johnny blushed a bit and for a moment felt a little happy at the attention he was getting from the Loud girls.
"Johnny."
Then suddenly all that happiness faded away. Johnny turned around and saw Lori behind him with her arms crossed.
"Hey Lori," he said and rubbed the back of his neck, "your probably wondering why I haven't been texting... you see me and Linc have -"
His words cut off when Lori snatched him by the front of his shirt and dragged him off his feet. Fire blazed in her eyes and her lips peeled back from her teeth in a cannibalistic sneer that dared him to continue so that it had an excuse to rend the flesh from his bones. "Listen, you little twerp, you better have a good excuse for ghosting me and I better like it."
Johnny felt his heart crash into his stomach, "Alright, alright," he cried, "My dad forgot to save money for my cable and internet so everything is off!"
A wicked grin carved across Lori's face, and she sat him back on his feet. "Good," she said. "I knew you weren't purposely ignoring me." Lori then grabbed Johhny's hand and dragged him upstairs, "Come on Johnny let's go play some video games."
Lola then ran up and grabbed free hand, "Not so fast we were watching cartoons!"
Lana also grabbed his hand, "Yeah, play video games later!"
Lori glared, "Well too bad we're doing a video game date night followed by watching ARGGH."
Johnny looked to the twins, "Guys why don't we watch some cartoons after me and Lori play for a bit?"
Lana gave a sad puppy dog pout, "How long will that take?"
Johnny gave a nervously laugh, "A hour sound good?"
The twins looked towards each other, "Ok Johnny."
Lori grabbed Johnny by the back of his coat and dragged him away like a caveman with its bride. "Great now if there's no more interruptions.
"You forgot me."
Lori let out a "Ahh!", she falls on to Johnny after getting startled by her sister. "Lucy! What have we told you about pop out like that?!"
Lucy sighs, "Not too."
Johnny carefully moves Lori off him, "What are you doing here?"
Lucy looks to Johnny, "It's the season premiere of my favorite show, Vampires of Melancholia."
Johnny gets up, "Oh that's cool me and Lori are gonna play videos video games."
Lori put her hands on her hips, "FYI Johnny, we gotta play our games on my Dad's crummy, old, black-and-white TV."
Lucy gave a blank stare, "Black and white are my favorite colors."
Johnny beamed, "Really, it'll make playing our games a little bit more spooky!"
Lucy walked closer, "Spooky is also my favorite color."
Lori grabbed Johnny's arm "Well, enjoy your vampires."
Lucy jumped in front of Lori "Wait! I want to play too!"
Lori glared, "No way this is date Lucy not a baby sitting."
Johnny looked up to Lori with his own puppy dog pout, "Come Lori it wouldn't hurt to have Lucy join us."
Cut to Lori's room where Lori is found grunting to get the TV to the dresser. "How can only two colors be so heavy?" Puts it on the dresser. "Here you are. Now to plug it in."
Johnny looks at the plug, "Are you sure that won't kill the power?"
Lori gives a deadpan look, "Don't question me Johnny."
Lori plugs in the TV. Unfortunately, the plug is broken, and the power goes out.
Lori, Johnny and Lucy all say, "Dang it."
Many of the Loud kids and Lincoln murmur in confusion about the power outage.
Lori walks into the middle of the hall, "All right! All right! Everybody just calm down!"
Leni panics, "Guys! I can't see anything! I think I've gone blind!"
Lori sighs, "No, you didn't go blind. I was just plugging in the old TV and it must've made the lights go out."
Lynn glares at her oldest sister "Of course it was your fault, Lori."
All the other sisters complain about what their sister did.
Lori glared back, "What? I wouldn't need to plug in dumb old TV if I could use our HD TV!"
Luan looks around, "Hey! I know why the lights went out! Cause they liked each other!" She laughs as her siblings & Lincoln sigh "Get it? Get it?"
Lisa hands Luan a cookie, "That one was so good, it deserves a cookie."
Luan grabs it, "Oh, thanks." Luan eats it, "So anyway, what did one light bulb say to the other?"
Suddenly Luan starts glowing.
The rest of the kids gasp.
Lincoln jumps, "You're glowing."
Luan frowns, "Oh. I already told you that one?"
Luna looks closer, "No, dude. You are glowing."
Luan notices she is, "Hey, wow!"
Lori decided to take charge, "Everyone back away from Luan.
The rest of the kids step back.
Lori looks at the girl genius, "Lisa, Mom and Dad said you're not allowed to use your sisters as experimental guinea pigs anymore!"
Leni glared at Lisa, "Yeah! Not after what you did to me!"
Cut to flashback of Leni and Lisa with Leni experiencing side effects from Lisa's experiment. Her face is extremely swollen and covered in blemish like substances.
Leni touches her face, "My face feels funny."
End flashback
Lisa smirked, "Classic. All I did was infuse the bioluminescent DNA of the Aequorea victoria jellyfish into a cookie. I call them Gloweos.
Johnny rubs his chin, "Interesting, Lisa do you have more Jellyfish DNA we could team up and market these Gloweos.
Lori put her hands on her hips, "Johnny don't encouraged her!"
Johnny looked to Lori, "Why Gloweos could become a big hit. Besides, now we can see."
Lori rolled her eyes, "Okay. Everyone huddle around Luan.
They do as Lori says.
Luan smiles, "I always knew I was the light of your life." She giggles as the rest of her kids sigh.
Lincoln: "Okay. So, how about we get that power back on."
Lori looked crossed, "Hey, when Mom and Dad are out, I'm in charge. So first, we need to get a head count to make sure we're all here."
Lincoln looked over everyone, "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and me, that's 12. Yep, that's all of us. We are all here and accounted for."
Johnny lifted a hand, "Wait!" Johnny then ran into Lynn & Lucy's room and returned with Lucy holding his hand. "Now we have everyone."
Lincoln looked to Lori, "Can we go flip the circuit breaker and get the lights back on now?
Lori scowled, "Again, in charge. I'll do it. Where's this circuit breaker thingy?"
Lincoln pointed downward, "In the basement."
The kids arrive at the basement. Lori's silhouette peers over the basement's darkness.
Lori looks scared, "Why am I the one who has to do this?"
Lori's sisters all at the same time angrily say, "Because you're in charge!"
Lori waved a hand, "All right, all right! Come on, Luan. Light the way."
"That's the brightest idea you've had all day!" Luan said then giggles. Lori pulls her from their sisters. After doing so, Luan's glow goes away. The rest of the sisters gasp. "Oooh. I thought I was staying in tonight, but I guess I'm going out!" Luan said giggles as the rest of her kids sigh.
"Lisa, give her another one of those cookies. We won't tell." Lori said
Lisa looks her clipboard, "Negative. That was the only one. Prototype."
Lori sighs, "Just great..." she then hears a wooden creak and gasps in fear, "There's something in the basement! I'm not going down there!"
"Ooh! You're scared of the dark!" Lynn teased.
"I am not! You're the one who's scared." Lori said back
Lynn challenged, "I'm not afraid of anything."
"Boo." Lucy said.
"AAH!" Lynn Screamed.
While most of the girls start arguing, the twins start to tremble with fright.
The twin both scream, "THERE'S A GHOST IN THE BASEMENT!"
Lincoln & Johnny exchanged know looks the loud sisters were making a mountain out of a mole hill, but they still were friends with the louds and they needed help.
Lincoln quickly thought of a plan and then whistled to get everyones attention, "Hey Luan doesn't your video camera have a night vision setting?"
Luan pulled out her camera, "Yeah it does!"
Lincoln smirked, "Prefect hand it over!" Luan passes the camera to Lincoln.
Johnny squats down to the twins height and gives them a hug, "Don't worry everything gonna be ok."
Lincoln looked at the others, "Ok here's the plan Johnny and I will go down into the basement and get the lights back on, Lori you stay up here and watch your sisters."
"Wait! You're not leaving us up here all alone, are you? I mean, we couldn't possibly let you go down there all alone. We should all go down together. As a group." Lori said grins pleadingly.
Lincoln rolls his eyes, "Very well. I'll lead the way."
The kids then head into The basement; Lincoln leads the way with Luan's camera as his guide.
"You may want to stay close. There's no telling what could be lurking down here in the dark." Lincoln said.
"There's nothing funny about this situation. Although, I do like dark humor." Luan said
"Is someone touching my hand?" Lwni asked.
Lynn looked, "You're touching your own hand."
"I hate basements." Lori said.
An eerie sound comes.
Lori gasps, "What's that moaning?!"
The girls all gasp and Lincoln turns to the source.
"Don't freak out. It's just the pipe settling." Lincoln said.
Another scary sound
"What's that scratching?!" Leni asked.
The girls gasp again and Lincoln checks.
"Don't be scared. It's just Cliff the Cat." Lincoln said.
Cliff is using his scratching post and meows.
Lynn plug up her nose, "What is that smell?!"
The girls gasp again and Lincoln sees something familiar.
"It's just Lily with a full diaper." Lincoln said.
Luna is holding Lily and understandably grossed out by her baby sister.
Lily giggles, "Poo-poo!"
Lincoln Sighs, "See, guys? I told you. There's nothing to be afraid of."
Another ominous noise occurs, surprising Lincoln and the sisters.
"What is it?!" Lori asked.
"Lincoln...LINCOLN..."
"IT'S A GHOST AND IT KNOWS MY NAME!" Lincoln yelled.
The girls all start running around and every one of them except Lucy is screaming.
"I'LL SAVE YOU, LOUD SISTERS!" Lincoln yells and charges at the ghost. Lincoln punches and kicks the ghost, but the ghost puts up a fight and ends up putting him in a headlock.
"Save yourselves guys the ghost got me!" Lincoln yelled.
The lights come back on and it turns out Lincoln is the one giving Lincoln the headlock.
"My EYES!" Johnny screamed.
"Please evil spirit have mercy on me!" Lincoln pleads.
Lori finding the circuit breaker and turned the lights back on herself. "Cool it, Lincoln. It's not a ghost. It's just your brother." Lori said.
Lincoln opens his eyes and raises a brow. "Why did you scare us?" Lincoln asks.
"You guys went pass the circuit breaker and I took the chance to mess with you guys." Johnny said then started laughting while giving his a noogie.
Leni with her eyes closed, "Guys! I still can't see!"
"Open your eyes." Lisa said.
Leni opens her eyes, "IT'S A MIRACLE!"
Lori points to upstairs, "Come don't we have ARGGH! To watch?!"
2 hiurs later, Lincoln and Johnny sat on the loud couch while the Louds crowded around. Lori entered with a bowl of popcorn, Leni fetched a fifteen-pack of Chocolate Cherry Cola from their's stash, and Luna played air guitar. "Alright, man, let's watch some ghostage!"
"I hope he wrestles a ghosts," Lynn Jr. said and pumped her fist. She grabbed Luan in a sleeper hold, and Luan cried out. "Tap out, Chuckles."
Luan's face turned purple and she thrashed against her sister's attack. Lori wedged herself between Lincoln and Johnny. She crossed her legs, sat the bowl in her lap, and tossed a handful of popcorn into her mouth. 'Thanks for helping us," she said, "you guys are literally lifesavers."
"No problem," Lincoln said.
"It's the least we could do," Johnny said through a penitent smile.
Lucy leaned over Johnny, plucked a kernel of popcorn, and held it up to examine it like a jeweler studying a precious stone. "This one looks like a skull," she deadpanned. She clamped it between her teeth and bit down slowly, probably imagining bone cracking and turning to dust on her tongue.
"Lynn!" Lori cried. "Let go of your sister."
Reproached, Lynn undhanded Luan, and Luan sank to the floor, coughing and clawing at her throat. Leni slammed a Chocolate Cherry Cola, then opened another. She threw it back and some of the contents sluiced down the sides of her mouth in brown rivulets. "Like, this stuff is SO good." A mad look crept into her eyes and she trembled like a high tension wire.
"I think that's enough of the sugar," Lincoln said.
He reached to take Leni's third cola away from her, but she spun on him, teeth sharp and eyes blazing. "I'll tell you when I've had enough, white hair!"
"Leni!" Lori cried, appalled. Her face was hidden behind a big foam finger shaped like a ghost.
Len seemed to regain her senses, then stuck out her bottom lip. "I mean...just one more. Please?"
"Sure," Lincoln said. He wasn't going to make the mistake of getting between her and her soda ever again.
At the foot of the bed, Lana and Lola argued over a toy, one pulling left and the other pulling right. "It's mine!" Lola squeal.
"No, it's mine," he twin replied.
Lynn snatched it away, tossed it into the air, and caught it one handed, a smug smile spreading across her lips. "You know the rules, if you fight over it, it automatically belongs to -"
Screeching a primal battle cry, Lana and Lola pounced Lynn and smashed into her as one, knocking her backwards. She hit the nightstand and fell to the floor. The lamp wobbled and almost fell, but at the last minute, Lincoln shot out his hand and saved it. Whew.
"Knock it off," Lori called. "The show's starting."
The ARRGH logo flashed across the screen and the spooky theme music played. Lincoln settled in, munched popcorn, and drank Chocolate Cherry Cola until his bladder burst. The Loud girls talked, screamed in terror when Hunter encountered a ghost that turned out to be a curtain fluttering in the breeze, and bickered back and forth the entire time, but you know what? Lincoln enjoyed himself, and that night, he realized that while doing things might be great, it's the people you do them with who really make them special. Johnny felt the same way.
THE END.
