A Human's Last Stand Chapter 1

Naruko's POV

It had been three days ever since I killed that boy named Issei. During my stay in the forest where I built myself a shack, I noticed multiple people scouring the area of the town of Kuoh. Most of them were women but some were male. They seemed to always investigate the area where I ended his life. My guess was they were his precious people or such trying to elucidate his death. Their auras were so drastically different than normal humans that I knew they were looking for something specific. That specification is me. They were looking for me and I knew I could hold long so I could only guess I was gonna die trying to get back home. Kurama was dead but he did impart me with some useful knowledge. I really wanted to hurl for this inhuman action she proposed but at the same time, he did say it was non-violent in a way. If I wanted to live long enough to take the hate from granny Tsunade then I had to do it and get back home ASAP. Dad was right in the need for one outweighs the needs of many. Right now my personal distastes far outweigh the need for the actions Kurama spoke of before his demise.

Flashback: Kurama's Death: 4 Days Ago

''Oi, Kurama where are the others?'' I asked him as he didn't move his head severely before answering.

''Naruko...they're gone forever and I will be soon too. I don't have much time so listen up partner. Your last panic attack when Sasuke's arrow was about to hit us tore a hole through dimensions and we landed here after escaping the gap. This cost Sasuke his life along with other Bijuus. We took control when you were unconscious and took his Six Paths powers to save you at the cost of all our lives. I sadly don't have much time and your power will get into trouble if you don't find it first. You always hated killing so listen up. With this, you can puppet someone to do whatever you say. It is disgusting but the longer you stay here, the less you'll be able to come back home. So think of it as a necessary evil. I made this power dissipate when you leave this dimension so you don't have to worry about the damage you would have done. For now, I got one last request, my friend...A final fist bump.'' Kurama said as he extended his fist toward me. I couldn't believe it as tears flew from my eyes as I cried No! No... he couldn't be gone along with my promise. As I tried to run after Kurama asking for more answers, he began to disperse into smoke desperately trying to catch his paw only to miss it. I was stuck in denial and couldn't give him his last request. DAMMIT! I really am such a dead last. As I understood his way of things to survive I decided to stell my heart and close it to what I was about to do. If I couldn't give Kurama his last fist bump then I would use what he told me to make sure his sacrifice wasn't in vain.

Flashback End: Back to Present

I was brought out of my thoughts by a knock on my shack. As I walked and opened it revealing a small blonde-haired girl with green eyes. She wore a school uniform with the name of the town that Issei was attending. I then asked her what she wanted.

''Hello, can I help you with something?'' I asked her as she stumbled like a klutz before she explained herself.

''Sorry miss, I'm looking for clues about the disappearance of my friend. Have you seen him?'' She asked me as she showed me a picture of Issei and I knew I hit the jackpot. I then gave her my answer.

''I think I found a bag that belongs to him. Please make yourself at home while I go fetch the bag.'' I said as the girl closed the door and sat at the table. I then once I was upstairs shushinned behind her and knocked her unconscious and began using the puppet ring that Kurama told me to use. Energy fizzled out of her with her bath wings as a chess piece like the one tried to use on me boy came out of her and her wings disappear as the piece turned to dust. As I used my father's signature Jutsu to warp the shack she woke up and addressed me happily.

''Naruko-Onee-chan, what can I do to help?'' The girl asked me as I nodded and asked her what she should do to help our case. She nodded and told her plan.

''Well, I can fake and say nothing happened and go back to Kuoh Town. Rias will want to question me and I'll leave the club since I can just say Issei isn't around anymore. They won't suspect a thing from cute little Asia.'' The now known Asia said as she explained herself and chose to dismiss her familiar Rassei for good. After we planned it she left via my markers and was at a sweet shop. I had done the first step but the look filled with love and lust she was giving before she left was making me nervous. Being a Futanari I had both urges and having been Naruto Uzumaki for most of my life to hide my true self I couldn't deny that she was cute. I could only hope that Kurama's plan wouldn't backfire.

POV Change: Rias's POV

This was bad. Asia's piece came back and losing our healer hurt us a lot but what was mind-boggling to me was her answer. She saw us as nothing but bad memories since Issei died now and she dismiss Rassei forever but she was still alive. She even left the club and school. Even Issei's parents were in shock and Asia told them in front of my face that I let Issei die to add him to my peerage. This got us girls kicked out and Asia simply didn't care. She left without a care in the world but I had decided that starting tomorrow I would tail her. Whoever converted her from us also killed Issei. This in my mind Screamed Naruko Uzumaki and I would not let her destroy what we and Issei achieved together. I still couldn't shake the feeling of dread and that maybe I should have sent Koneko to tail her instead.
