The last thing I remember before dying was getting hit by a truck that suddenly started driving on the sidewalk and now here, I am floating in a space like void which seems to be devoid of all forms of life other than stars and what not.

"So, this is what the afterlife is." I said to myself with a heavy sigh. "This isn't what I was expecting."

Greetings and sorry for being late. I'm new to this job but let's not dwell on that for now. Anyway, I am here to inform you that you qualify for reincarnation, and you will be sent to a new world with the power of the D.I.C.E system aka the Dimensional Imaginative Character Emulator which allows you to live your life as if you were a videogame character.

So, with that being said we are going to begin with the character creation.

After seeing the light green message, I was hit with another screen as this screen was of a character creation screen that seemed very similar to the Elden Ring character creator but some things I can't change like my build since that depends on my stats and my name is randomly generated based on the available races I can pick from.

"Okay now I know what world I'm going to and honestly, I can't say that it's all too bad. So, I guess I'll pick the dragon race since dragons are pretty cool." I said as I selected the dragon race and soon enough my new body was created.

My new name is Talon Cleave. I am a nineteen-year-old dragon with black scales and crimson secondary scales lining my stomach, neck and the insides of my arms and legs and my tail. I also have two bone white horns as one is on the left side of my head and the other is on the right and both horns are curved forwards. Lastly are my eyes that are a bright amber color.

"Well, these all seem good, but I guess I'll pick something simple first." I said before I made my choice once again.

Okay everything seems to be in order and just so you know. The world you are going to is a modified version of the My Little Pony universe so there are different dangers and struggles and what not but do your best. This world is registered very low in terms of danger but don't let that get to your head because you can still be killed if you're not careful.

Before I had a chance to respond to the message my vision had darkened, and I somehow knew I fell asleep but not before feeling the sensation of falling through the air.

"Ow. My head." I said as I woke up and saw that I am inside of a strange fantasy themed forest. "I guess all of that wasn't a dream." I said to myself as I stood up off the ground and felt a new sensation behind me which made me turn and see my tail coming from my lower back as it lightly graced the ground at my feet.

"I was really Isekai'd." I said with a chuckle before I noticed that I am wearing clothes which is basically just a blue and long-sleeved robe with black trousers and white boots on my feet. "I was given clothes and stuff as well." I said to myself before new information came into my mind and this information was about how to properly use this D.I.C.E system.

"I'm going to have to do a lot of training and grinding." I said to myself before I looked around and realized that I had no idea where I should go. "The first thing I should do is go out and search for civilization, but I have no idea which direction a town is in." I said to myself before I noticed moss growing on a few trees and rocks.

"Moss always points towards civilization so that means I should go this way." I said to myself as I heard about that moss fact from tv and started heading north in hopes that I would stumble upon a town or something.

Now the walk was rather long, but I luckily didn't stumble upon any wild creatures or anything but all that stopped when I heard something sneaking up behind me and as soon as I turned around, I saw my would-be assassin which was…A basketball sized slime that was a sky-blue color.

"A slime?" I asked myself as the slime lunged at me and I quickly moved out of its way as it landed on a pile of sticks and leaves before quickly melting said objects. I didn't hesitate to use my only spell and blast the creature with a ray of frost and after a short while of being blasted I saw the slime dissolve into a puddle, and I even got some XP out of it.

"Okay slimes should not be touched." I said as the puddle was still giving off steam and giving off a burning smell which made me quickly speed up my walk and keep a closer eye on my surroundings.

"I'm telling you girls that those weird plants are growing somewhere around here." A voice said as I quickly hid behind a tree to avoid being seen since I don't know if the person would attack me or not but when the people stepped out from behind several bushes, I realized that I knew these people from the show even in these unofficial Antro versions of themselves.

These ponies are Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle but they look to be around my age physically. Now they are also dressed in styles that remind me of dungeons and dragons as Scootaloo is dressed in a leather sleeveless top with leather gauntlets and shoulder pads along with matching trousers and boots as she has a black mask over her mouth and nose with two Tanto swords attached behind her at her waist and on her back is a strong looking bow and a quiver of arrows as well as her Pegasus wings.

Apple Bloom is dressed in a tan long john with a durable looking chest piece over her chest as well as leg guards and her own gauntlets as she is sporting a circular metal shield in her left hand and a long sword in her right.

Lastly is Sweetie Belle who is dressed in a pink tunic with a yellow knee length skirt and black leggings along with having on black shoes and strapped to her waist is a satchel with who knows what inside of it.

"I'm just saying that the 'poison joke' plant isn't something that we should be messing with." Sweetie Belle said as I looked on and wondered how I should introduce myself before fate interfered and out of nowhere, I suddenly heard growling.

"Oh crap. Timber Wolfs." Scootaloo said before they all assumed a ready stance as three wolfs made out of wood appeared in front of them from behind large bushes as the wolfs where big like real wolfs and they seemed to be letting out a green gas from their mouths that sunk to high heaven.

"How do you want to deal with this?" Scootaloo asked Applebloom before I decided to intervene and act as the big hero as I stepped out of my hiding place and blasted one of the timber wolfs with a ray of frost which took it and the girls by surprise.

"I guess where going to follow this dragons lead." Apple Bloom said as she charged at the wooden beasts with her weapon and shield in her hands along side Scootaloo while Sweetie Belle seemed to hold the wolfs in place and all too quickly the fight was over, and the timber wolfs are now nothing but fuel for a fire.

"Thanks for the help but who are you and what are you doing in the Everfree forest?" Apple Bloom asked as she walked up to me after sheathing her sword.

"I actually just woke up here and I'm not quite sure where I am." I told her and she gave me a questioning look as if she could see through my little lie.

"Well, you helped us out even if we didn't need it so I won't pry into your business but you shouldn't be in the Everfree forest by yourself. The monsters here are pretty strong." Apple Bloom said to me.

"Well do you think you could point me in the direction of the nearest city?" I asked her as she looked over at her friends for a moment.

"Sure, thing partner. We just need to finish our job first." Apple Bloom said as I smiled a bit at that.

"What job?" I asked her.

"Well, me and my friends are Adventurers, and we took on a small-time job to gather some 'poison joke' plants for the town alchemist." Apple Bloom explained as that gave me a bit of information that I could use.

"Well, I'll just wait for you three to finish your job then." I said as the three of them gathered the plant and placed it in Sweetie Belle's satchel before they decided to leave and let me come with them and after a bit of a walk the four of us left the Everfree forest and in the distance, I saw a sizeable town.

"That's Ponyville. Our hometown." Sweetie Belle said before we headed into the town, and I was given a few likes by a few ponies and what not, but I paid it no mind as the girls led me towards the Adventurers Guild and just like in videogames it is basically a place for Adventurers to relax and unwind as well as take part in quests and missions.

"So, is this where we part ways?" I asked the group since I was honestly a bit unsure of what I should do now that I am actually in the city.

"For now, but if you came here looking to join the guild you could join our team." Scootaloo said as I considered that for a moment.

"Well, I do need the money, so I'll sign up but I'm still new to the area and don't know how things work so for the moment I need to figure some things out before I join your group." I told them.

"Understandable but since your new and don't know how things work, we could show you around and help you out a bit." Sweetie Belle said kindly.

"Really?" I asked them.

"Yup. Just wait for us to turn in our quest." Apple Bloom said before they turned in the alchemical plant to the guild girl before the girls took me out of the Adventurers guild and gave me a tour of the city where they showed me the important buildings as well as area's that I shouldn't go to due to legal reasons and other such things and at the end of the town the sun was already setting.

"I don't suppose the inn would let me stay there for free." I said jokingly as the three of us are actually sitting at a round table in the Adventurers guild as well all got a plate of food and a drink.

"Nope. Even if they did, you're a stranger here and they might not trust you." Scootaloo said to me and honestly that is a fair point.

"Fair enough." I said with a shrug.

"Well, if you need a place to crash you can spend the night here at the Adventurers guild since they often have beds available for Adventurers in need of rest, but the catch is that you have to join the guild." Sweetie Belle said as that made me chuckle a bit since I still haven't signed up to join the guild.

"I already said I'll join so that is what I plan on doing. So, what are the three of you going to do?" I asked them.

"Well, we've got homes to get to, but we'll be back tomorrow if you want to talk some more." Apple Bloom said with her own kindness.

"That's nice but I have to ask why are the three of you being so nice to me? I'm a stranger." I said to them as they looked at each other for a moment.

"Well, the Adventurers Guild often takes on strange and sometimes shady figures to get jobs done so at this point I guess we just got used to helping out people we don't know. There isn't a reason we help people or anything since it is something we just do in the guild in order to keep as many Adventurers alive as possible." Sweetie Belle said to me as that gave me pause.

"Are monsters really that big of a threat?" I asked them.

"Yup but it isn't just monsters. There are bandits and other things to consider as well. But that is something that you will learn later." Scootaloo said and just like that I got up from the table and went to the unicorn at the front desk of this guild hall.

"I'd like to register as an Adventurer." I told her as she looked me over for a moment before she spoke up.

"Very well. Please sign this form and then return so we can continue with the registration process." The woman said as she handed me a paper and pen before I realized a bit problem.

"This is bad." I said to the girls as I sat back down at the table.

"What is?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I can't read this." I told them honestly as I put the paper down on the table and honestly the girls seemed to be holding back their laughter.

"Sorry for laughing but are you really saying that you can't read Ponish? It is the most common language around these parts." Apple Bloom said as she wiped a tear out of her eye.

"Can you please just help?" I asked them.

"Sure thing. Just tell us what to write when we ask you a question." Apple Bloom said as she and the girls asked me questions from the form and I answered as honestly as I could before returning the paper to the guild girl who then took out a blue crystal that was square in shape and looked to be as big as a thumb.

"Please hold out your dominant hand." The woman said as her horn glowed as she held up the stone and when I gave her my hand, she pressed the stone on the back of my hand which felt weird as it seemed to dissolve into my hand and leave a strange symbol on the back of my hand that looked like a star inside of a triangle. "You are now a member of Ponyville's Adventurers Guild." The unicorn said before she allowed me to say my goodbyes to the girls as they headed out and soon enough, I was shown to the barracks.

A few other Adventurers where sleeping in this large area and they slept in bunkbeds so I took a bed before I headed off to sleep as I couldn't help but think about how many adventures I could have in this new world.

It was early in the morning when I woke up and made my way to the main hall of the guild as I sat at a table and waited for the CMC to and one by one, they came to the guild and sat at the table with me as we talked for a bit.

"So, how does joining a group like yours work?" I asked them.

"Well, we aren't some gang or anything. Where just a team and if we say your one of us then you're one of us." Scootaloo said to me before I started hearing some gossip going around about the girls which made them look down a bit.

"Before you join us you should know that we are the worst ranked guild in this place." Sweetie Belle said sadly.

"There's a rank system?" I asked them.

"Yup. The ranks are copper, silver, gold, crystal and adamantium. The spell on your hand keeps track of your strength and abilities and judges you based on the missions you complete or fail at. Then it shows you the rank of your strength as one of the ranks I just mentioned and none of us can really break copper rank." Sweetie Belle explained.

"Well that just means you've got to work harder." I said which seemed to take the three of them by surprise.

"Yeah. Your right Talon. We just got to work harder than everyone else and we'll rank up in no time." Apple Bloom said with positivity in her voice.

"Good. Now let's show these other Adventurers that we mean business and take a proper quest." I said to them as they quickly agreed and then we made our way to the mission board in search of the perfect job to rub in the faces of these judgmental Adventurers.
