Edgar let his scarfs do the work, while he began to heal himself. Wow this guy is super strong, I've lost almost all of my health…thought Edgar. Mean while, his team mate, collete, was busy fighting the opponent. Edgar blushed looking at her and concentrated on his healing. Crap she looks beautiful… he was up to 25% health when he noticed collete's health bar. She had less than him. Ayyy, im almost done…. He thought, feeling relatively stressed, but then she got punched straight on the face. She fell down, blood trickling down her lips. Then he clicked. Watching her in pain was terrible, but watching her die made him go mad. His eyes went red, his fists clenched, his teeth gritting, and charged. He went as fast as lightning and cut through the beast, taking away a quite big amount of blood. Collete, watching closely, blushed at his bravery, she has had feelings for him for a while, but she was always scared to tell him. His handsome looks gave her more health. Her eye was back to being a white, normal eye. Her blood went back to her mouth like instant replay. Her eyes went fears. She charged and they fought together, both ending up with low health bars, Edgar's being 1% and colletes being 0.6%, but the beast had 0% blood. They have won the battle. " well done miss. Sketchy ." Said Edgar, motioning a fist bump." Same for you mr. Depression. " said collete, receiving the fist bump, right when their fists met, the beast exploded, which gave a very tom cruise feel to the game. Collete blushed as they took a rest. Edgar was sweaty head to toe. She had an idea. She took her bag, and took out a towel. " Edgar, you might want to use this…" he turned around, smiled slightly, took the towel, and gave his thanks. He wiped his face, slightly revealing his covered eye. Collete watching with dreamy eyes, thinking of how nice it would have been if they were dating. " um collete?" Said Edgar's voice, disturbing her daydream. " kya , what is it," she said quickly, the tip of her ears turning red. Her glowing eyes made Edgar blush too. He was trying to confess, but was too nervous to do it. "I..you…." He stuttered. Is it possible? Is he confessing? Thought collete. " you… did some great fighting today" he blurted out. Oh crap! Thought Edgar. I said the wrong thing! collete kept smiling, but inside her heart sank. " ah… thanks! You too!" She said. Their brake was over, so they went to fight the next beast.
1 hour later…
"Ahhh finally, freedome." Said collete happily. Edgar looked at her. He breathed heavily, trying to gather as much confidence as he could. " collete?" He said. "Mhm?" Said collete. Then he did something he didn't plan. He took her arms, pulled her over, and kissed her. Colletes eyes were wide open. She blushed, as her hands began to move towards his chest, her eyes closing. They pulled each other very quickly. Colletes eyes opened, relieving hearts, the hearts you would see when she is hugging spike, but bigger. Edgar's face turned from its usual white colour to a deep shade of pink. Collete was so happy she put her arms around Edgar, fighting back happy tears. Edgar closed his eyes and smiled for the first time in a while.
