Chapter 1 - the adventure begin

Piper's POV

It have been 2 years since Bruce death but I didn't know that Ra's al Ghul ambushed Batman and they both dead thank to the fact that Batman self-destructs the base but his death did triggers a Code Black contingency that did summon myself, Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin but I didn't attend the funeral because I want to be alone for a while

I can never forget what Bruce did for me after the Joker kidnap me and almost torture me to death but Batman save me and took me back to Batcave where Alfred, the other gotham knight and Bruce got me back to full healthy but I was scar for life by the Joker

Piper sit on a cliff that look over Bruce's grave and she was playing with her magic cards that she got from Bruce before he die and she didn't realise that Alfred was standing right behind her

"I thought that you would be here Miss Piper" said Alfred as he went to Piper and sit down near her

"Alfred I didn't hear you coming," replied Piper as she stop playing with her magic cards and look at Alfred "it is good to see you again"

"The same go to you miss Piper," added Alfred as he look at Piper and saw the scars "but I see that time haven't been kind to you"

"Yes," replied Piper as she look at the scars before stand up and throw one of her magic cards into a tree but it have no effect on the tree "even since Bruce die, the magic cards have no effect on anything that the magic cards hit"

"Maybe the way that Master Bruce threw the magic cards didn't the right way for you," added Alfred as he stand up and look at Piper "find your perfect way to throw the cards"

"Of course Alfred" replied Piper as she pick up another magic cards between her index finger and her middle finger before she throw the card into another tree and the card heal the tree

"I believe that you found your perfect way to throw the cards," said Alfred as he smile and went to Piper and give her a envelope "Master Bruce ask me to give you this before he die"

Piper took her magic cards out of the trees before putting the deck of magic cards into her pocket and look at Alfred before took the envelope and open it

"I didn't know that Bruce saw me as his daughter," replied Piper as she look inside the envelope and saw a cat mask "did Bruce want me to become catwoman the alter ego of Selina Kyle?"

"No because Master Bruce want you to make your own alter ego," added Alfred as he went to Piper and touch her shoulder "I will meet you at Belfry with other gotham knight when you are ready"

Piper nodded and Alfred went to Belfry to meet the gotham knight

Piper's POV

I don't know if I want to become a gotham knight but I want to make Bruce proud so I went to Belfry to see Alfred and the other gotham knight

I enter Belfry to see Alfred and the other gotham knight standing near the bat computer and I went to them

"I am telling you guys," said Nightwing as he look at the team "we need all the help that we can get"

"And may I remind everyone that Piper may be mentally unstable but she is a good kid," replied Alfred as he smile at his team before look at me "I see that you took me up on the offer"

"I want to make Bruce proud" I replied as I walk to them and stop near Alfred

"Do you know what we are all up against?" ask Robin as he look at me

"We are up against Court of Owls, Mr. Freeze and Clayface," I replied as I took a deep breath "and I can handle myself"

"How? I don't remember Bruce training you" added Batgirl as she look at me so I took out the deck of magic cards out of my pocket

"I have a desk of magic cards which I can throw at anyone and there are 52 cards in this deck 54 if you includes the two jokers," I replied as I show the team and Alfred the deck of magic cards "there are four suits and the four suits are hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds"

"Well done smart ass" added Red Hood as he saw that Alfred gave him a look and everyone went to do whatever they needed to do so I decided to on night patrol

"I want you all to know something," I said as I went out for my first night patrol "I have a sister that I haven't seen for 2 years now and she was last here in gotham"

"... you … find … while … are … patrol … Gotham … night" replied Alfred but I didn't get the full message so I stop on a building

"I didn't get the full message can you repeat that Belfry?" I ask as I keep an eye for danger but I didn't see that someone wear a owl mask was standing behind me but I was able to understand one message

"You are in danger" replied Alfred but it came to late as I felt something hit the back of my head and I fall to the floor and pass out but I was able to feel what was happening to me
