Satine was not happy, to say the least. Mandalore had just fallen, her people had betrayed her, and a Sith and his brother were now in charge of her planet.

So here she was now, in a cell awaiting her doom. It was either she died at the hands of her people or the Sith, she didn't care, she just wishes it will be an honorable death, and a small part of her wishes Ben will save her in time. She suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when her cell door opens and a few of the guards walk in, behind them Maul follows, dragging a limp person with him in the process.

She looks at the unconscious figure horrified and immediately knows who it is.

"Look who came meeting my demands." Maul snarls, he tosses the limp body over to Satine, and the person grunts. "Kenobi was foolish and traded himself for you. You have a few minutes and then the guards will escort you to a ship. Say goodbye to your lover boy." Maul snarks and leaves, the guards in tow.

"Ben." Satine says and drags him over to her, she quickly leans him against the wall and looks at his injuries, she gasps as she sees all the bruises and cuts littering his body. "Oh, Ben. You di'kut." She softly touches his face and Obi-Wan slowly starts to wake.

"Satine." Obi-Wan says, looking at her worriedly. "You, okay?" Satine shakes her head and smiles.

"Only you, my Cyare, would worry about someone while severely hurt." Satine states, Obi-Wan lets out a laugh and then quickly grimaces, grabbing his abdomen.

"Why would you come here, Ben? It was a trap." Satine softly questions.

"I knew it was a trap, but I needed to make sure you would be safe and could get away." Obi-Wan explains.

"I know, but a prisoner trade? Who's going to save you, Ben?" Satine inquires, her eyes getting watery.

"It was the only way to make sure you would be all right. And I don't care about me, I care about you." Obi-Wan states, Satine looks at him and holds back her tears.

"Why do you have to be so selfless all the time?" Satine questions. "How do you think I'm going to feel? When they take me and let me get to safety, how do you think I'm going to feel knowing that you are being hurt and imprisoned?" Satine asks, tears streaming down her cheeks as she lets her emotions take the best of her.

"I'm sorry, but I know you will be fine. You're strong and resilient. And I know you will find a way to get your planet back." Obi-Wan comforts.

"You better stay alive long enough for me to save you, Ben. I will not bury you. I have buried so many people in my life, I have buried my people, my friends, and my family, but I will not bury you." Satine declares and Obi-Wan looks at her understandingly.

"I can't promise you, but I will try, only for you." Obi-Wan says, his own eyes getting teary. Satine hears footsteps coming from down the halls and knows she doesn't have much time left. She wipes a stray tear off her Cyare's cheek and kisses him.

"I love you, Ben. And I'll be back; I'll always come back for you, I promise." Satine states and Obi-Wan nods, knowing she'll keep her word.

"I love you too, Satine. Stay safe." Obi-Wan whispers, Satine grabs his hand one final time before she stands up. The guards come in and grab her by her arm roughly, Obi-Wan protests at the roughness but Satine doesn't mind, a light bruise on her arm is the least of her worries at the moment. She looks at Obi-Wan one last time and they both smile at each other, this won't be the last time they see each other, she guarantees it.

The guards lead her to a ship and give her a comm link to call whomever, but she already knows whom she's going to call, and it's not the Republic or Jedi. Once the ship exits the planet's atmosphere, she stops it, so her ship is just drifting, from here she can see her planet. She looks down at her commlink and at the name of the number she just typed in, Bo-Katan Kryze.

Satine presses the send button and smirks, Maul can enjoy his time on her planet while he still can, because, in a while, she's going to make him suffer for taking her planet, but most importantly, for hurting her Ben. She may be a pacifist, but no one gets away with what he has done and will do to her Cyare, no one.
