Sonia and Manic were at Station Square wondering where Sonic was.

Sonia and Knuckles had been dating for five years, Manic and Rouge for two and Sonic and Shadow for six years.

"She has to be here somewhere." Sonia said.

Then they heard something.

"ALAN!" Sonic yelled.

"Well if it weren't my little experiment." Alan said smirking.

Everyone looked at him then Sonic.

"Experiment?" they said.

Sonic growled.

"You haven't told them what I did to you years ago did you?"

Sonic said nothing then growled.

"Would you just shut up!" she yelled and for the first time in nine years hit her medallion then got him hard with her laser.

"Ah!"

Shadow and the others could tell she was fighting Dark Sonic so he walked over to her and held her close.

"Don't even think about it babe. I know you're fighting that part and obviously hate him but you don't want to murder someone and end up in jail." he said. "Again."

Sonic took a deep breath and nodded.

"Fine." she said and put her guitar away. "And last time was your fault."

Then he let her go and she ran, jumped and kicked Alan hard.

Shadow stood there shaking his head.

"I'm lucky to have someone like this." he said smiling a little.

A few minutes later Alan was out cold so officers took him away.

"Sonic!" someone said so she turned around and looked to see Sonia and Manic running to her.

"Hey." Sonic said.

Shadow was next to her now and Sonia and Manic gave her a hug.

"We've been looking for you." Manic said.

"You know me, I'm always on a new adventure." Sonic said smiling a little.

"With me, Tails and Knuckles from time to time to." Shadow said.

"So what's up?"

"We just came to visit because mom's with the president talking about something." Manic said.

"What?"

"We don't know. She didn't say." Sonia said.

"Why don't we go to our place and catch up?" Shadow said.

They nodded and headed to Shadow and Sonic's house.

When they got there Sonic grabbed them a snack while Shadow took his jacket off and sat down.

He was on his way home from work when he watched it all.

"OK. Got a snack all set." Sonic said and sat next to Shadow.

"What happened when you left? And who was that guy?" Manic asked.

"Dr. James Alan. A while after I left, about two years I had just finished fighting Robotnik now known as Eggman, Knuckles was either at Angel Island or with you and Tails was at his Workshop. I was stopping to do something when I was hit by something and blacked out. The next time I opened my eyes I was trapped with my hands and legs wrapped around something. I saw a man at a table filling out a needle. When it was all filled he turned around and saw I was awake. Then he started explaining what he was doing with me. Told me he was doing something a friend did with another hedgehog. He saw what I could do and everything else. When he gave me the shot I felt so much pain. My Chaos hurt, I could feel it getting stronger, something else was in me and plenty more. After that I passed out. He gave me a few days to see what happened and said everything he wanted to happen happened and worked. It killed me when I found out I was immortal now. I would lose my friends and family."

They sat there quietly shocked at what she went through.

Shadow held her close.

"I'm sorry. If I wasn't created this wouldn't happen." he said.

Sonic shook her head.

"It's not your fault." she said. "I have some files with me saying what he did and stuff."

Shadow thought of something.

"I might have something that'll cheer you up." he said smiling.

"What is it?"

Then he went to the ground and knelt down then reached through his fur and grabbed a box.

"Sonic, I know we didn't start that great but now we're sticking together. And now that I found out you're what I am we'll stick together even more. So, Sonic the Hedgehog, will you marry me?"

Sonic covered her mouth then nodded.

"Yes." she said and he smiled, put the ring on her finger and gave her a kiss.

"Take care of her." Manic said.

Shadow smiled.

"I will. Don't worry." he said.
