A week later Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Cream, Sonia, Manic, Aleena and to everyone's surprise, James Alan were in court with Towers.

James was in cuffs right now and had a guard with him.

Sonic and Shadow were a little nervous but knew with Aleena being Sonic's mother they'll win.

"OK, first up is Shadow the Hedgehog." the judge said.

Shadow got up and sat down a little pale and nervous.

"With this I have the files of you two." the judge said getting Sonic and Shadow to turn pale.

"Name: Shadow the Hedgehog

They looked at him.

"Shadow, what kind of things did commander do to you?"

"He said that if I didn't join them he'd put me back to sleep. I didn't want to work there after what they did to Maria and Professor but I didn't want to be put back to sleep. I had done what Maria wanted, saved people, made friends and someone I love and loves me back." Shadow said.

"I don't see what you were created for though. Why were you created?"

"I was created to look after Maria. Try and cure her."

That surprised them all. Minus his friends.

"Who would want to love something like you?!" Towers said.

Sonic glared at him and stood up.

"I would! I don't care what he did to me when we met! He was confused and Robotnik, I mean Eggman sorry tricked him!" she said.

Everyone looked at her.

"I don't care what you think about him. Me and the others got him to stay with us. He doesn't work for him anymore!"

Towers glared at her thinking she'd be scared but to his along with others surprise she rolled her eyes.

"Nothing can scare me that easily after years of what I did since I was little." she said and sat down.

"Robotnik? You mean Gerald?" James said.

"No! Ivo Robotnik you idiot!"

"Well!"

"Let's just continue." the judge said.

When Shadow was done they called James.

"Dr. James Alan, why did you create Sonic?" the judge asked.

"I didn't create her. I found her and took her to make her like Gerald's experiment but a different reason." James said. "I wanted revenge for what GUN did to Gerald and Maria."

That surprised everyone.

"If you look at her files you'll see."

"Where exactly did you come up with her?"

"My parents were friends with Gerald in school and he gave me the idea after hearing about him."

"That's it."

He nodded and went to sit down.

More people did it.

Then finally it was Sonic.

"OK, now even though talking to Dr. Alan is Sonic's files.

They looked at her in shock while she turned bright red.

"You hid all that just to keep what you are now quiet?"

Sonic nodded.

"OK. Next up is notes.

Note: I was five years old and had heard about Project Shadow created by Gerald Robotnik. My parents were great friends with him. It had given me the idea of doing something but with a living hedgehog to make it easier. When I saw a blue hedgehog going for a run I decided to kidnap it and tried to get it to be just like Project Shadow. I achieved that but she was able to run away already being born with the speed. Now she has everything Project Shadow has but stronger. Like Project Shadow's rings the necklace she now where's is to help her control how much power she uses. She may last much longer than him when she takes it off but can still sleep longer when she passes out from exhaustion when taking it off.

They sat there quietly.

Then the judge looked at her.

"Sonic, what kind of things did commander do to you?"

As nervous as she is she acted like the Sonic she is now.

"He threatened me with experimenting me and what Shadow said. Along with saying if I don't do it he'll attack my friends and family. I've already lost my foster parents and uncle thanks to Robotnik when me, Sonia and Manic just met. Killed my foster parents when I was five and robotacized uncle Chuck when I was thirteen. When I met Sonia and Manic we found out we're triplets, son and daughters of queen Aleena and a damn prophecy. That's how it all started." she said shocking them all minus Aleena, Sonia, Manic and Knuckles. "Then after defeating him we found our mother and took back our kingdom. Then I found out that Eggman came and made me wonder if we really did defeat him so I left to find out. When I found out he was still alive I told them and left until I ended him for good. Then I would get back home and do what I truly am to do."

Aleena, Sonia and Manic smiled knowing what it was.

"And that would be what?" someone asked.

Sonic opened her mouth but was cut off.

"The missing princess. I sent Team Dark on a mission to find her and it turns out she's the one." Towers said.

They looked at her and she looked like nothing happened.

Then Aleena, Sonia and Manic stood up.

"I'm her mother Queen Aleena. When she becomes queen she'll do fine at it." Aleena said.

"I'm her sister princess Sonia and member of Sonic Underground. After leading Sonic Underground and Team Sonic she knows how to do it." Sonia said.

"And I'm her brother prince Manic and member of Sonic Underground. She looks after Tails and Cream perfectly. When we created Sonic Underground she tried to protect us like any other big sister would do." Manic said.

Then to their surprise Knuckles got up.

"I'm her best friend and teammate of Team Sonic and once in a while Sonic Underground Knuckles. Even after joining Robotnik a few times over the years she lets me stay on the team. She understands I'm not that smart and am trying to help! No matter how she feels she looks after everyone. She even helps me and Chomps with the Master Emerald along with the seven Chaos Emeralds!" he said.

"Wait, she looks after the Chaos Emeralds?" someone said.

"Yes. Every time I transform into Super Sonic I have to look for them before anyone else can get them. Like Knux is with the Master Emerald, I'm their guardian and like Tails has been since I found him they're my responsibility. I've been trying to think of a way to make them safer but still haven't thought of anything." Sonic said.

"Then how come you gave us all one?" someone else asked.

"It's a fake one. Me and Shadow made it so that if for some reason I were to split the two worlds apart again you would still have something to remember us by."

That shocked everyone but Shadow.

"We made another one for me so I can Chaos Control places and such myself. Unlike Sonic I need one to do things like that. All I can do without one is what I was created with." Shadow said.

Then they came back and the judge decided to get back to what they came for.

"How did you become an Ultimate Lifeform like Shadow exactly?"

Sonic sat there quietly for a minute.

"I don't really know. He gave me a shot making me dizzy for a few minutes. Then he made me this necklace for a limiter of my own. Now I have everything Shadow has but stronger."

They sat there quietly.

"I don't know why exactly he did that though. I don't think I want to know. I know what I was born for and that's it."

"And what would that be?"

"To protect people." she said. "My friends, family, kingdom, everything and everyone."

They nodded and went to sit with Shadow again.

"One more thing for Shadow." the judge said.

"Yes your honor?" Shadow said.

"What do you think about Sonic being part of GUN?"

"She doesn't deserve something like that. After all the times she saved you. When you found out what she is now, you got her fighting the other part of her, other than Super Sonic. You owe her big. After all the time she saved you you left her and treated her awful!"

Everyone but Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Sonia, Manic and Aleena winced knowing he was right.

"Thank you." the judge said.

While they were there Sonic and Shadow were scared.

Finally they were waiting for the answer.

"We've made our decision your honor." someone said.

"And?"

"We say, guilty."

"Alright, Commander is here by guilty and Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog are free to do as they please. Stay or leave GUN."

Sonic and Shadow held each other close with tears coming down.

"We're free, we're finally free!" Sonic said smiling.

"I know." Shadow said holding her close.

Towers glared at them while being taken away.

Then they let go and were held close by the others.

"After four years I'm finally free." Sonic said tears still coming down.

"Let's go home." Shadow said and they nodded.

"Since I don't have an emerald with me and you didn't bring yours with you I'll do it." Sonic said and raised her hand. "CHAOS CONTROL!" she said and they were gone.

Everyone sat or stood there in shock that she really can do.

"She hid that from everyone so she didn't have to worry about something like this to happening." someone said.

"I guess so." someone else said.

"She really can Chaos Control without a Chaos Emerald." Topaz said.

She had only done it in front of a few people like Towers and people that see her in town for a fight but will think they saw her holding a Chaos Emerald.

A few GUN members had come. Including Topaz and Rouge.

"I guess so." someone said.

"And that's with her limiter on." Rouge said. "I'm surprised she can do it with more than two people unlike Shadow. Even with a Chaos Emerald he has trouble doing it with more than two without his limiters off."

"Well she is stronger than him." James said. "She's as strong as Shadow with his limiters off with her necklace on."

They looked at him in shock.

"What? I wanted her different but the same at the same time." he said and shrugged. "With them off she's five times as strong. And she doesn't get tired as easily with it on or off. She heals quicker, Chaos Controls without an Emerald, faster, stronger, more abilities and plenty more." he said and looked at where she left. "I'm surprised she hid them from everyone to be honest. But it was her choice."

They all shook their head and left.

Rouge and the other GUN members went to headquarters, Sonic's friends, brother and sister went to hang out at Tails' Workshop while Aleena went home to tell everyone that Sonic and Shadow are free.
