Sonic and Shadow were now at home relaxing and smiling.
"You ready to become queen?" Shadow asked.
"I think I am. I led the Freedom Fighters, Sonic Underground, Team Sonic and was a part of the Resistance so I know what I'm doing. And I'm sure mom will help if I need it." Sonic said.
"I'm sure you'll be fine."
Then they sat there quietly again.
Shadow had been thinking about something.
Then he looked at Sonic.
"I have a question." he said.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Have you ever wanted a family of your own?"
She froze and looked at him in shock.
"What?" she asked.
"Have you ever wanted a family of your own?"
"I've thought about it but didn't know if anyone would want to be with me. Why?"
"I was wondering if you were ready because I, want a family of my own and I'm ready."
Sonic sat there quietly for five minutes looking at him.
"If you're not ready or don't want one we don't have to since we're both immortal."
She knew she would have to do this anyway for an heir if she wanted to step down from being queen so smiled.
"Alright." she said and he smiled.
"Well then, shall we start?"
"Alright."
Then he got up, picked her up and headed to their room.
When they got there they got undressed and started.
Two hours later they were laying there relaxing.
"You're good at that you know that?" Shadow said.
"No I didn't. I've been single my whole life and never did it until today." Sonic said.
Then they got up, took a shower and went out to dinner with the others.
They didn't tell them they started though.
It had been a month since they did it and Sonic was in the bathroom looking at something.
They had moved into the castle last week and the coronation was in two weeks.
She looked at her pregnancy test and smiled.
She was pregnant.
"Yes! I didn't think it was going to work first try."
Then she went to see Shadow in their room watching TV.
"Shadow?" she said and he looked at her.
"Yeah?" he said.
Smiled and sat down then showed him the test.
He looked at it then smiled wide.
"Really?" he said and she smiled.
He held onto her and kissed her.
"We should go tell everyone." she said and he nodded.
Then they got up and headed to the Throne Room.
When they got there they saw Aleena, Sonia and Manic sitting there.
Sonia was moving into Angel Island after the coronation.
"Mom? Sonia? Manic?" Sonic said and they looked at them.
"Yes Sonic?" Aleena said.
"We have something to tell you."
"Which is?" Manic asked.
"I'm pregnant."
They sat there in shock then smiled, got up and gave them a hug.
"Congratulations!" Sonia said.
They smiled.
"That was actually our first try to." Shadow said and snickered.
They looked at them in shock.
"That's hard to do." Aleena said.
"I know. Maybe it worked from what we are." Sonic said and shrugged.
"Maybe." Manic said.
"Well, why don't we go call everyone?" Aleena said and they nodded.
"I'll call Tails." Sonic said.
"I'll call Rouge." Shadow said. "I'm pretty sure she has today off."
Rouge and Topaz are Team Dark now.
After working together in the beginning and Sonic and Shadow gone they started to work together.
"I'll call Knuckles." Sonia said.
"I'll call Amy. I heard she was at Cream's so that'll make it easier." Manic said.
"And I'll call the town." Aleena said.
Then they called everyone and they said they'd be there soon.
Knuckles had Chomps look after the Master Emerald.
Half an hour later they were all there and Sonic, Shadow, Aleena, Sonia, Knuckles and Manic were standing in front of everyone.
"I called you all here because Sonic has something to tell you." Aleena said and Sonic and Shadow stood in front of everyone.
"We called you here because I'm pregnant." Sonic said.
They all stood there in shock for a second then started cheering.
Especially Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Amy, Cream and Cheese.
"Congratulations your highness!" someone said.
"Thank you." Sonic said smiling then looked at Aleena who nodded smiling. "That's it, you're all free to go."
Aleena smiled and nodded knowing she was ready.
After leading three teams, raising Tails, looking after Tails, Cream and the Chaos Emeralds she knew what she had to do.
Then everyone but Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream and Rouge left.
They looked at them smiling.
"So, where are you?" Rouge asked.
"Five weeks." Sonic said.
"I'm guessing since you're going to be king and queen in two weeks you don't have to get a job." Knuckles said and snickered.
"Obviously." Shadow said holding Sonic. "But I know one thing. I'm not spoiling it."
Sonic nodded.
"We already know how to take care of a child. Shadow because Maria and me for Sonia, Manic, Tails and Cream." she said.
"You didn't have to look after us. We're triplets for Chaos sake!" Manic said.
Sonic rolled her eyes.
"Ten and five minutes apart doesn't matter. I'm still the oldest."
They rolled their eyes.
Aleena chuckled.
Then they went back and relaxed.
