A week later Sonic was in the throne room back to being queen.
She's been fighting the emotions from the miscarriage and with years of experience she did it fine.
Shadow was next to her reading.
He would look at her once in a while she thought.
"So, Sonia and Knucklehead's wedding is in two days." he said.
Sonic snickered a little.
"Only I can call him that." she said.
Shadow chuckled.
"Who's going?" he asked.
"Obviously us, Manic, Rouge, Amy, Silver, Blaze, Tails, Cream, Cheese and I think Vanilla. I don't know about Chris, Chuck or the others though."
She nodded.
Then he sighed.
"I know you're fighting your emotions after the miscarriage but hiding it." he said and she looked at him. "You need to let it out. You've been hiding to much in you over the years."
She felt her eyes watering a little but fought it.
"Let it out." he said gently and held onto her.
Then she finally gave in and cried.
Two days later they were at Sonia and Knuckles' wedding.
"Do you Knuckles the Echidna take princess Sonia the Hedgehog to be your lawfully wedded mate?" the priest asked.
"I do." Knuckles said smiling.
"Do you princess Sonia the Hedgehog take Knuckles the Echidna to be your lawfully wedded mate?"
"I do." Sonia said smiling.
"I now pronounce you mates. You may kiss."
Then they kissed and everyone started clapping.
Soon they were at the reception.
"You better take care of her Knucklehead." Sonic said.
"I will." Knuckles said.
"I'll come visit you. And if you ever need help just give me a call." Sonia said and hugged Sonic and Manic.
"We'll miss ya sis." Manic said.
Then they sat down and had cake.
Shadow held Sonic close smiling.
Eggman was gone, Sonic and Shadow are free and Towers and Alan are gone.
Even though Sonic's the same thing as Shadow and lose her friends in the future, as long as they have enough other they'll be fine.
