When Edd woke up, the scent of sunshine and fresh apple pie was all around him. Groaning softly, he tried to sit up, only to held down, gently, and forced back into a laying position. The hand quickly retreated and the boy then realized the soft, so very soft comforter he was laying on and whimpered quietly as he tried to burrow further into it and close his eyes. Edd curled up slightly and allowed himself to ease back into sleep. Yet as he did so, he was just becoming aware of another body pressing lightly against him, followed by the scent of rain and pine. It was oddly calming and Edd felt himself falling asleep faster, while trying to lean into the fresh scent.

Marie could feel someone's tongue rasping against one of her wounds, the scent of apple pie and sun clung to her nose and felt comforting. The blue haired girl could also feel a gentle weight against her body but unlike with her bitch of a sister, this was calming. Without opening her eyes, she knew who this was but she still felt conflicted.

As she tried to move her body, she felt the same gentle hand as Edd did, lightly keeping her down. But unlike Edd, she was too stubborn to not resist. She pushed back, soon feeling the deceptively heavy weight of her savior against her back. A pair of small breasts pressing against her back, along with sharp claws that didn't pierce her skin gripping her shoulder. A small growl in her ear made Marie freeze but only her a moment, the blue haired girl was determined to sit up.

Another growl sounded as she was fully sitting up and that body hadn't moved from her. Marie sighed as her arms shook, bearing both hers' and her rescuers' weight. Marie closed her eyes, trying to make the other understand through the power her gender all had. The soft growling paused, turning into softer purring. Marie felt her shoulders loosen.

But then she felt an arm snake around her, one hand gripping lightly on her left breast, causing Marie to let out a shaky gasp. It was a cheap move, Marie knew, and her arms shook more.

"Nazz..." she whispered softly, her breath hitching in her throat as she felt Nazz lick a wound just under her ear, the purring never stopped and Nazz refused to let go of her. Marie finally couldn't bear the weight anymore once Nazz went to suck on the wound instead of just licking and that was all Marie could take. She let out a shuddering moan, her face turning beet red and her arms gave out but before her face hit the comforted ground, Nazz held her up.

"Marie...please." the blonde growled softly in Marie's ear before setting her down carefully and resumed her position draped over the Omega. "Let me help you."

Marie panted for a moment, squeezing her eyes shut as Nazz went back to licking at her wounds, at least the blonde wasn't holding her boob anymore. "Y-You're not my leader. I don't...need your fucking help!" the last words came out with as much of a growl as she could muster. But it petered off with she felt a stab of sorrow bite into her. Almost as bad as Lee's fangs on her flesh.

Nazz bared her fangs before nuzzling her face into Marie's hair, she could feel the older girl stiffening against her, but Nazz did not move. "I know, but...when I felt your pain and smelled blood, I couldn't help but go to you. It was...instinct."

Marie snorted beneath her and kept her eyes shut. To have this Alpha, this younger Alpha save her, it made Marie burn. But...as she felt the other's weight on her, a small part of herself, a part Marie wished she could squash, was grateful.

Marie felt her shoulders hunch and she wanted to curl into herself and cry, her scent once again souring and Nazz purring again to try and sooth her. The action caused Marie to bare her fangs and with the last of her strength, buck Nazz off of her. The Alpha grunted and growled, her eyes narrowed at this troublesome Omega. She watched as Marie crawled over to Double D, leaning against the unconscious boy and trying to gain strength from him while she continued to bare her fangs at Nazz, her claws looking ready to tear.

Nazz rose to her knees and growled, while trying desperately to ignore the sensations of "get away" and "need Edd" that felt like it was burning against her skin. Every step closer to Marie, the older girl lowered her head, tensing to attack, only for a voice to cut through the shimmering haze between them.

"Nazz, cut it out. She's terrified. You're gonna give her a heart attack." The low, rough voice was surprisingly quiet, and Marie caught the scent of rain and pine as a boy walked in, another Alpha.

Marie lowered her head further, before leaning her body more against Edd's in an effort to protect him, but the other Alpha, a red head with piercing green eyes, what was his name again, only stood to the side. He look almost bored.

"His neck is bleeding again." the boy muttered, while Nazz gaped at him before hissing quietly as Marie used this to half lunge, half fall towards the blonde to bite at her arm. Marie grinned in satisfaction as she tasted blood but it was short lived as Nazz headbutted her and forced her to let go.

"Nazz!" the boy shouted just loud enough, sending out his scent and practically flattening Marie with it. She whimpered, tears in her eyes as her body tried and failed to turn towards him.

Nazz looked mildly irritated as she faced the boy, but his eyes was only on Edd. "Kevin, what the hell?"

"Leave her alone for now. Let her sleep. She just got her shit kicked in by two Alphas, she doesn't need another beating her down." he then calmed and his scent faded to a regular degree, allowing Marie to breath. She glared at him and Kevin, Nazz called him Kevin, turned away, moving to Edd.

"Sorry." he mumbled, just as Edd woke up and tried to rise only for Kevin to carefully pin him back down and the Omega to settle after a moment and fall back asleep. Marie watched as Edd leaned against Kevin, the Alpha allowing the contact with a slight smile.

As Edd rested, Kevin gently patted the boy's uninjured shoulder before looking at Nazz, his eyes darted to Marie and the blonde sagged, turning to face the older girl.

"Is it possible for you to give us a minute?" she asked, grunting when Marie growled at her.

"I'm not leaving Edd!"

Kevin huffed softly before slowly, carefully moving away from Double D, the smaller boy whimpered in his sleep at the loss but Kevin walked over to Marie and quite effortlessly picked her up and placed her in his spot. The girl protested but seeing Edd calm down made her quiet too.

Kevin motioned for Nazz to follow him and the two Alphas left the room. Kevin did pause at the door, looking over his shoulder at Marie. "We'll be just down the hall, holler if you need anything." He was met with stony silence and the hoodie clad teen shrugged before following after Nazz.

"Explain." Kevin rumbled, looking right at Nazz who turned away with a sigh. Kevin waited but he did huff softly when he felt the other Alpha was stalling.

"She's two years older than us, there wasn't much to her than fear back then. But then we got to high school. We started seeing each other more during my sophomore year. At first, we still didn't talk much. Maybe said two words to each other when the hallways when we saw each other. She's a Kanker, no one really wanted to mess with any of them. But...I started to noticed than she was hanging with her sister less and less. You know I presented as Alpha by then and after a while, I figured out that she was an Omega. I found her crying in the bathroom once, her arm was bleeding. Lee did it to her. She was roughed up and I offered to help. I...I stayed with her, I could feel that she needed it." Nazz's voice came out soft, but she was smiling a little at the memory.

"After that...we kinda would just bump into each other from time to time. We would chat, eat lunch and sometimes hang out for an hour or two before she would leave. Then...then one day, towards the end of her senior year, Lee attacked her and kicked her out of her pack. She didn't have anywhere else to go and she came to my house. I healed her up and allowed her to stay with me, my parents didn't mind. She was in a bad way, she has a scar on her stomach that she doesn't like others touching."

"A broken pack bond." Kevin said, sscowling and curling his lip. It was one of the worst things an Alpha can do to a packmate.

"Yes. She told me everything, how Lee was becoming more and more abusive, attacking and belittling them every chance she could. Marie would stand up to her as much as she could and would try to fight back and protect May, but it was always bad. Then finally Lee cast her out, breaking their bond. She told me all of this on the third day. I did everything I could to comfort her and...welll...she then kissed me. One thing led to another and we mated that night. I...I...knotted her..." Nazz revealed, blushing, running her hands through her hair. "She...she left early in the morning while I was still asleep. I would then see her with Double D, we rarely talked after that night, but she told me what happened to him, similar to her, and that they had formed their own little pack. This is the first time I've had her in my house since that day, almost two years ago."

"Fantastic. Two Omegas with broken pack bonds." Kevin grumbled before looking to where they had just came from.

"What do you think we should do, Kevin?" Nazz asked, fiddling with a strand of hair and looking back down the hall, like she wanted to be near Marie again.

"There's not much we can do, they aren't pack and after what they been through, they probably won't want to deal with Alphas for a long time, if at all. We can patch them up and after that, they can go on about their business." Kevin then looked at Nazz, his eyes soft. "Whatever is going on with you and Marie, you have to let her come to you. Right now is not the best time to try and force anything. I know it's hard but be patient."

Nazz snorted at that before walking back to the guest room, going to sit beside Marie, who stared back at her with narrowed eyes, but Nazz stayed a slight distance away. Kevin himself sat by Double D while keeping his cool. The trio said nothing and eventually Marie felt herself slipping into unconsciousness depsite her best efforts. She snuggled against Edd for comfort, her breathing slowing easing off. Beside them, Kevin and Nazz kept careful watch.

A/N: What's this? Two chapters in a day? What is this witchcraft? But seriously, I'm thrilled to write this, though it's an excuse to get some backstory out of the way. Hope you still like and here's something I forgot to post with the first chapter, hope it helps.


Typical A/B/O dynamics ensue, but with my own spin on things:

All of the genders have fangs and claws, plus all of them are a bit more animalistic ex purring, licking wounds, marking territory or others with scent or claws the world is perceived as much by scent and hearing as as with sight.

Alphas: Strongest and longest fangs and claws. The strongest and most easily angered. Highest sense of empathic concern.

Betas: Medium fangs and claws, average strength and senses but can be temperamental, natural seconds in command. Highest sense of cognitive empathy.

Omegas: Smallest claws and fangs, weaker than an Alpha but can and will hold their own, still capable or maiming/killing in worst case scenario. Has the highest sense of emotional empathy, of smell, and of hearing.
