After the Sanderson sisters were perished forever,Max and Dani have a moment together. Dani and Max hug after a little conversation following the end of the sisters.
Dani told Max that he saved her and he told her he's her older brother and that they love each other. This proves that no matter what they will always love each other because they're family.
Dani: You saved my life.
Max: I had to. I'm your big brother.
Dani: I love you, jerkface.
Max: I love you, too.
They start to walk home and they are sure their parents are in bed by now since the curse of the party should definitely be over by now. Max and Dani get their pajamas on and get ready for bed. Max can finally settle down knowing that his little sister is safe since the sisters were gone forever.
Once he's in bed,Dani enters the bedroom and asks if she can stay with him,he moves over to make room. His sister crawls into the bed and snuggles with him as she feels his arms wrap around her. They go to sleep. He felt relieved and happy he saved her life.
