Thursday evening found Merida and Saffron cuddled on the couch and watching Ice Trucker Madness. Saffron's eyelids drooped, but she still hummed warmly as Merida rubbed her shoulders affectionately. With eyebrows knitted, Merida muttered lowly. "So you passed your test on those…covalent bond things?"

Saffron nodded, then scooped up a handful of popcorn from the bowl on her lap, before reclining back against Merida. "All passed and all good. Covalent bonds are a piece of cake." She popped a few pieces into her mouth, then did her best to locate Merida's mouth behind her. The raspy laugh that followed let Saffron know she hadn't been successful, but after a few moments, she felt Merida's lips close over both her fingers and the remaining popcorn.

Nodding encouragingly, Merida swept her fingers along the back of Saffron's neck. She paused, mid-noisy-chew, and gave a light scratch. "So what the fuck are they, anyway?" She blushed, pressed a kiss atop Saffron's head, and added self-consciously. "English, if ya can."

Saffron licked the salt from her lips, set the popcorn bowl on the nearby coffee table, and finally trailed a hand up the length of Merida's left arm. "Ok, so you see, atoms share electrons just like how we…" Fingertips skittered up against Merida's armpit, and Saffron's stomach fluttered sweetly as Merida gave both a ticklish shiver and a warm coo at the same time. Hooking fingers around Merida's t-shirt sleeve, Saffron gave a gentle tug, and continued. "...how we share t-shirts."

Merida squirmed as the collar of her shirt dipped lower, before she slid a hand down Saffron's side and tickled along her sweatpants waistband. "So they trade 'em back and forth? Well, I mean…that ain't always how we do it, yeah?"

At that, Saffron cackled and nodded. "Mind if I lose mine and…join you?" A moment later, Saffron trilled and thrilled as Merida lifted her shirt off. It sailed across the living room and landed next to a half-full laundry hamper.

The next minute featured a fair bit of shuffling, and even more blushing giggles, and culminated in Saffron's explosion of dark hair popping through the collar of Merida's t-shirt.

Merida's warm breasts pressed against Saffron's back, and Saffron cooed appreciatively as she once again drew Merida's arms around her waist.

"No bra. Lucky me."

Content to let her eyes drift back to the dangerous driving on television once more, Merida gently kneaded Saffron's stomach, but added a throaty whisper that ghosted against Saffron's left ear.

"You're you. Lucky me."
