"Mito-Chan wakey wakey" someone shouted, giggling and shaking my body mercilessly.
I groaned, opening my eyes to see a blurry yellow mess. I'm alive? Maybe it is a dream.
"MITOOOOO!"
I sprang up startled only to be met with a girl sitting on top of me, hugging me and rubbing her cheek to mine.
I stared enamoured by her sky-blue orbs that sparkled with happiness, blonde hairs spiky all over reminding me of the sun as it fell to her shoulders.
A massive grin stretched her whiskered cheeks.
Why is this stranger so happy for me to wake up? And why is she calling me Mito? That's a Japanese name if I recall.
.
.
.
Wait whisker marks this is Naruto! An old man appeared behind Naruto moving towards the bed.
The 3rd Hokage! what's he doing here? And Why is naruto a girl?
The old man sat by my side and stroked my head with a frown. I felt it when his warm hand stroked my head. I could hear his breathing.
They're real. Am I in heaven?
"Mito-Chan. While playing with Rin you fell on your head and entered a coma for the last 3 days" Hiruzen explained.
I clenched my blanket in worry and confusion. M-my hands. They're moving. My eyes went to my legs where I wiggled my toes.
My jaw fell, unable to comprehend what was happening anymore.
"I-I" Tears sprang into my eyes as I heard my unfamiliar voice. I'm able to talk and move.
My breathing got heavy. I can't keep up. What's happening? "Mito take deep breaths" the Hokage said.
I inhaled as Naruto's eyes filled with fear. I made Naruto scared.
"Jiji what's happening to my sister?" naruto asked, holding onto me.
The old man hugged me, I wiped my tears trying to control myself but before I knew it I had a full breakdown holding into the hokage.
I was scared of everything but relieved at the same time.
After a lot of hugs, persuading, and calming methods I settled, Resting my head on Hiruzen's shoulder while he carried me.
"Mito-Chan, It's clear you're exhausted, let's get you in bed" The Hokage whispered, tucking me in bed.
Naruto went under the blanket beside me and hugged me. "I'm here for you Mito okay? I love you".
-
"Do you remember everything now Mito-Chan?" Naruto or shall I say Rin asked with hopeful eyes.
I sighed giving a nod. "I'm Uzumaki Mito, and you're my twin sister Uzumaki Rin. We're 6 years old and we're in Konoha".
Rin cheered and gave me a thumbs up "Excellent. Now come on let's prank the village, I have an awesome plan".
I shook my head and stared at the ground. "Rin, can you leave me alone for today?".
Rin's grin faltered. A look of betrayal crossed her eyes. I stood up quickly and held her face in my hands.
"No Rin I didn't mean it that way. I want to take time to catch up, I lost my memories and everything scrambled. I promise tomorrow we will play lots okay?".
Rin nodded in understanding. "I'll leave you for today only, tomorrow we will play got it? Take care".
My sister fleed, ready to inflict her usual mischief. I went to our filthy apartment to work on some stuff.
I got a journal and a pencil and began scribbling my plans in English. Nobody in this world would understand my language if they manage to find it.
I had reincarnated to the ninja world and things are different from what I knew. For instance, Naruto is a girl and her name is Rin instead. I'm Rin's twin sister Mito, someone who shouldn't have been born in the original plot to begin with.
I didn't have time to explore but I bet there are more things I'm unaware of.
Now I have an advantage because I know the majority of future events that will occur.
But the question is, what will I choose to do?
Either I let the original plot play the same by remaining a civilian and staying low or I carve my name in the ninja world and join the ninja academy with Rin.
I'm thankful for the crazy miracle I got. I won't throw it away. Not after I regained control on my body and voice.
This year, Rin will join the ninja academy but I know from the anime that she will end up failing the exam 3 times.
As for me, I have 0 skills. I have to start from scratch then build my way up and teach my twin to make her stronger.
My best bet is to somehow convince my knuckleheaded twin into abandoning the idea of joining the academy until we become 8 years old.
In these 2 years, I must create a healthy lifestyle. Starting with a nutritious diet and a training schedule to initiate my plans.
I can't complicate things considering we're 6 years old or we would get unnecessary attention if we got strong early.
The first year, I'll dedicate it to building our body muscles and stamina then learning taijutsu through sparing and experimenting.
In the second year, we will unlock our chakras then work on shuriken and kunai throwing.
I won't push into Chakra control, and true ninja training until we enter the ninja academy. That way it will be easier to lie about the information I have on getting stronger.
I noticed the sun in its golden hour. Soon it will be dark and Rin will return. I put away my diary and got to cleaning.
I hummed naruto's blue bird song and opened the windows to air the room like Sera used to do.
Sera, I miss you and your silly jokes already.
I've never cleaned in my life. Using my body was awkward and new to me But I managed slowly by holding a large bag and putting trash and expired stuff in it.
After that, I clumsily spread soap on the dishes and rinsed them clean. Well not without breaking a mug...
multiple songs later, dancing like an idiot, and a few screams from finding disturbing coach roaches, I was done.
I prefer to work on our life skills. overall the house reached an acceptable state.
Anything but the awful odours and insects that don't pay rent.
What are your thoughts on the 2nd chapter of our story?
