She saunter's into the abandon warehouse and walks straight over to Vaughn, with out looking up, she has a glow about her, of which Vaughn immediately notices, but says nothing because he has something he has been needing to discuss with her. "Hey." She declares in an over-enthusiastic voice. "Hey." He replies sticking his hands in his pockets. And for the first time that evening she looks up to study his face. "What's wrong?" she asks with a questioning look on her face. "Well, um that's why I called you here. We got a lead, to your- was your mothers agency, only to the computer mainline but off that we were able to download some birth records, that was all that was on there and it was so easy to find it's almost like they, whoever wanted us to find them." He rambled with a hint of concern underneath his voice. "Wait-, you're saying we found a lead into my mothers, was my mothers computer?" she questions in an anxious voice. "Ya, well, on there was Sarks birth records among others, and it shows his birth mother as being well. He has a sister" He continued "Well who is she, do I know her?" Syd replied. Vaughn takes his hands out of his pockets to shuffle some papers Syd hadn't even noticed until now. "Yes you do you, - its you." He stutters. "So actually you're his half brother." He manages to spit out. He reluctantly looks up at her and her face a look of complete shock and horror sweep across her face. He fells horrible like he just had to tell the wife and her children that their father had died in an accident, except worse because this was the woman he loved. "Were still trying to find out who the father was." He murmured so as to break the uncomfortable silence. They stand there motionless for a few minutes, then out of nowhere Syd leans in and hugs him, they stay like that for even longer, there embrace shows no sign of breaking, as questions flash through her mind. ******
At CIA
She stares at the TV that displays the picture of the camera that hovers over her mothers sell. "Sydney." Her farther pronounces in a hushed tone as he strides over to her coming out of the conference room. She turns to face him her eyes fierce and look of determination spread across her face. "Did you know?" she asks, with more hostility creeping into her voice with every word. "No, it was news to me too, not that it's at all surprising." This second part was said quietly, he did probably not even mean to say it aloud, because as he says this, an expression of hurt fullness flashes across his face for an instant. She glares at him, also wishing he had not said that aloud. "Excuse me, Mr. Bristow We found the rest of the birth certificate, we know who the father is." Explains one of the techs. The two briskly walk over to the techs. desk and start reading the pages. It is someone none of them expected. She would have gasped if she could have, but she was to over whelmed with confusion, shock, anger and some unrecognizable emotions, as they al flooded through her head al she wanted to do was cry.
