Changes

Heya, Diary!

Well, the costume is almost done, but I haven't figured out how I want the headpiece to be. I don't want it totally fitting like that wonderful Spider-Man's does, but how else can it be without using plastic or something? Oh, well… I'll tell you if I figure anything out.

Anyway, I have officially mastered flying. And my top speed is amazing. It's at least 100 miles per hour, probably more. Remember a week ago when I wrote about my rescue by Spider-Man and my own personal discovery after that? Since then I have gone out at night and practiced stunts and moves such as diving, loops, swerving, and more. I don't understand how I can handle it! It's probably something built-in… anyway, I have practiced almost every possible scenario imaginable, and landing and taking off seems like child's play to me now. Ha! It's funny to think that I consider flying physically on my own without any machinery normal while other people around the world would consider it unreal and unthinkable! I guess I understand what Spider-Man deals with now.

Oh, before I forget, I am using an American accent when I talk in costume so no one will recognize me (those drama classes in high school came in handy!). Also, I discovered that I can hold things with my feet like a falcon does with his talons! They seem to have become really limber! And I can't even begin to explain what's happened with my five senses… it's like they've doubled. You know about my sight already, but everything else is that strong and amazing, too! I can feel people walking around me through vibrations in my feet; I can smell everything and distinguish exactly where it's coming from; I can hear things perfectly clearly that are at least 100 feet away from me; I can taste like never before and everything is delicious!

Better go try to figure out my helmet thingy.

In Christ,

Cynthia
