Harry had been truly amazed to discover that the Doctor didn't need psychological help after all. The TARDIS really was a time travelling machine. Of course this was really only his second trip in the TARDIS and they were heading back to his time on Earth. He was sorry to leave his adventures behind him. Well mostly, he certainly wouldn't miss the Daleks or the Cybermen. Although he hadn't really came face to face with the Cybermen. Hands in trouser pockets Harry worked his way round the TARDIS consol. shaking his head on disbelief as he peered at the control panels as he walked.

"This really is quite astonishing Doctor." This was the first chance he had had to really look at the TARDIS controls since realising that they really did what he had been told they did.

"And what exactly do you find so astonishing Harry." The Doctor didn't bother to look up from the piece of equipment he was fiddling with.

Oblivious to the irritation in the Doctors voice Harry Sullivan continued to speak. "Well Doctor, I just find it astonishing that this consol controls the whole ship. I mean you wouldn't think so to look at it."

"Harry" Sarah Jane jumped in. "Why don't we go and get some lunch." She tried to give him a warning look. Really she would have thought he would have learned by now.

Too late! The Doctor glanced up from what he was doing and glared at Harry. His eyes were bulging which was a sure sign that he was about to snap.

Yet Harry still did not notice. "It looks like nothing more than a jumble of buttons and switches."

Sarah Jane didn't think it was possible for the Doctor's eyes to bulge further from his head and yet they did. The Doctor jumped up and put his sonic screwdriver back in his pocket and what looked like a circuit board onto the consol. "Ship? Jumble of buttons and switches? Harry, the subtle beauty of my consol is obviously beyond your ability to comprehend."

"But I.."

Sarah Jane rolled her eyes. Shaking her head she grabbed Harry by the arm. "Come on Harry, lunch."

The Doctor glared at Harry as he was hauled out of the consol room. He heard him asking Sarah Jane what he had done wrong. Left alone with the consol the Doctor patted it tenderly. "Just ignore him old girl. Harry Sullivan is a nincompoop. Jumble of buttons and switches! Huh!"
